The Gunderson Funeral home family were very helpful ,understanding and caring with my father’s passing and helped us through this difficult process. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family to grieve. Also supported us with after care through the process of grief afterwards.

Gunderson staff are the best, they made an extremely difficult event smooth. Thankfully they assisted my mother with her final wishes ahead of time, which in my opinion takes loads of trouble off your loved ones shoulders when the inevitable happens.

In my opinion they are the best service in Madison/Dane County area.

Their services don't stop once the final event is over, their staff have called and text me numerous times since just checking in on ME, and their time and caring has meant more than they know to me.

If you are looking to plan ahead OR if no plans have been made, they can and will make your decisions easier.

I would totally recommend Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Gunderson did an awesome job helping us arrange our father's visitation, funeral mass and burial. Pete and Steve were so caring and listened to our needs (and the requests of our father) and walked us through each step; that even included reworking the obituary. With our heavy hearts they led us through each aspect of the day with great respect, kindness and leadership that helped make the day go very smooth. I really appreciated that they followed up with me and asked how I was doing a month after the funeral.
