The Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is a fabulous place to visit. It is both fun and educational. The place has so much to offer for people of all ages. I love coming to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center because there is always something to new to learn and discover. If you are looking for a great place to take visitors or just a family outing, The Gumbo Limbo Nature Center will definitely fit the bill.

This place is fantastic!! Not only is it a Sea Turtle rescue, but a wonderful education center too. They have events all month long and there is always something different to do here. Lots of crafts and classes for the kids and adults. Last year I made Christmas ornaments here with my 18 year old daughter and we had a blast. This is a must see for all who live in or travel to the area.

Such a great find!!! The bathrooms are very clean. The nature center is well kept. Very kid friendly. The butterfly garden is amazing!!! My family and I enjoyed the turtles,the aquarium, and the red snack. They have a lovely and friendly staff. Well kept gift shop. Loved it!!!

Such a fun experience for the whole family to enjoy! My friend and I went on a saturday and there are tons of fun things to see and learn! The staff is friendly and very attentive. As annoying as it is, I love that they bring everyone in when severe weather is rolling in, they truly have your best intrest in mind. They have many different animals and a beautiful butterfly garden. Looking forward to coastal cleanup next month!

Turtles! Great place for a stroll. Bring kiddos. Donation requested upon entrance. Volunteers are friendly and educated. The young guy standing along the low tank was happy to talk about the species in the tank and he seemed knowledgeable as well as passionate which I appreciated. I feel like they're doing good things here

It's been years since I last visited the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. I am so happy that we took the trip out yesterday. We walked all through the location, and saw some really incredible things.
The section with the injured turtles was sad. However, the team there was doing some incredible things to help them get back to normal and ready for the wild again. It was so beautiful to see those babies to a 300lbs big boy.
We also walked near the open and closed aquarium sections. The open one has a baby barracuda in there. I thought that was really cool . The closed section was really neat to see these local fish living life.
I found the staff to be so helpful and friendly. The experience was just beautiful. I do recommend that if you come in the summer months to wear light clothes because it can get toasty outside there.
It's also free to experience everything here, but they recommend a $5 donation per person. If you're cool with that, bring a few bucks to give back.response / report this review -

A nice place to have a look at the local marine life and see first-hand how they are supporting the rehab of injured turtles. The guides are friendly and eager to inform you about the resident animals. A great place to bring the kids!

I Really Enjoyed Gumbo Limbo. It is a Beautiful Nature Center. I Really Liked the Marine Life there. And, also Liked Looking at the Butterflies. I Had a Very Enjoyable Trip and Would Definitely Recommend this Place to Others.

Had a lot of fun. Great place for kids, families, adults, and friends light hiking and great exhibits. Was under a bit of construction on our visit so half was closed and some was still being built. But it's being constructed newer and safer, so always a plus. Great place to see rescued turtles and a big aquariums of fish. Oh and don't forget to get your pokemon go on!

Very nice location which allows the public to get close to these massive sea turtles. Several staff we gave encountered are knowledgeable and always friendly. This is a great spot to take young kids, admission is free but they do take donations. The gift shop is pretty good for the size of operation. We frequentl here at least twice a year. We just did a fundraiser run/walk this year for Gumbo Limbo which was a ton of fun!

I've been taking my daughter to Gumbo Limbo since she was 5 months old and she still loves it at 2 years old! We love to see the fish and sea turtles and the suggested donation seems pretty reasonable ($5.00 per person) for the amount of work that they do. Their personnel is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We love coming here!
