I love swimming. This is the best place to swim.
Since downgrading to a new location there is very limited space, less machines, less weights, etc. I noticed that a lot of equipment is missing. Additionally, there is still only one squat rack making it frustrating to get squats or rack pulls in when it's crowded. Lastly, there are still no rubber weights for deadlifts, cleans, or snatches. As of now, your only options are Grolls, the Fit Factory (which is smaller and with even less equipment) or making a trip to Logan. $65 for a family membership isn't worth the amount of equipment offered.
Still uses Windows XP. I would not recommend going here, your valuable information isn't secure. Microsoft discontinued Windows XP security updates in 2014.
Groll Family Fitness is a great place , very clean family oriented with great customer service from all staff members. Always there to help you or answer any questions.
I joined this gym at the end of August and was so impressed it had a large pool area. I began by taking a water aerobics class and never looked back. I have become a water baby going 5 days a week. The sauna is a nice way to finish my workout. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I have encountered a wonderful community of people who attend this gym, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Great culture. Love it! Highly recommend it!
I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Groll Family Fitness. I quit back in July and handed in my written notice that I would be leaving, and I presumed that everything would go just fine. Well everything didn't go just fine. They kept charging me every month. So I tried to get a hold of them a couple of times, but they would never respond back to me. And then when they did respond they said that they needed a proof of residency. I'm not sure why they didn't tell me that much earlier (months earlier). So now I tried to find a proof of residency with the earliest date on it, and Chis Groll gets back with me and says that he is not going to refund me for the month of August. I'm not sure why, I was long gone by then, and I had let him know verbally and with written notice (which now I believe that he lost that). Put all of that aside though, why did it take forever for them to respond back to me (OVER TWO MONTHS!)? Why did he not feel the need to apologize to me for that? I'm not quite sure.
I may have had $75 stolen from me by Chris Groll, but he got the shorter end of the stick. He has lost my complete trust in him as a person. Money is fairly easy to earn back, but trust can take over a lifetime. Chris Groll may seem like a nice person on the outside, but from what I've learned from this experience he saw me as a $. He's not very good at running a business
My family went here for years not only due to proximity but great service, clean facility, and lots of options. Highly recommended. Groll family is pretty great too.
