Great local business. The krullers and donuts are very good, rich and tasty for desert. They serve strong coffee side and also sell liversausage sandwiches

Unfortunately I need to be honest. When I think of Grebe's bakery as a brand I think of dry baked goods with an oily residue on the roof of my mouth after eating them. They taste alright but I definitely wouldn't say they're the greatest in the world. I'm not entirely sure if it's a hydrogenated oil they use in all their products that does it or like a preservative. But I've tried a lot of different things and only had this experience with this particular brand. That is just my personal opinion take it as you well and I mean no offense to the business.

Great variety of donuts and danish. Fantastic cream filled coffee cake. Grebes has been a favorite of my family for over 50 years. Ham and rolls a tradition on Sunday's after church. Wish their small satellite stores were still operating around Milwaukee county.

Just moved back to area, four times visited the store to not have cherry Danish, the one time they said they had received the wrong fruit filling. Very dissapointed, last 2 visits walked out, will use pick N save from now on

This little shop is great. People were ordering lunch specials at one counter; others were ordering pastries at another. It's National Donut Day and they had a great deal for customers, and still had donuts at 1:30 pm. The parking lot is small, but there is parking on the street.
Now the part you care about: the donuts are delicious! They are sweet-but not too sweet, light and fluffy, and flavorful.
People looking for paczki on Fat Tuesday-go to Grebe's! They offer traditional and contest winning flavors; they are all worth it.
Grebe's is active on social media. Their Facebook posts are frequent and worthwhile.response / report this review -

Really small place but they are known for the black and white cookie. I must saythe black and white is the best in Milwaukee. The cookie cake is just perfect..cant really explain it. Hope you enjoy it. I only wish the store was a little bigger to spread out..oh well..get your cookie and run.

My coworker brought in a big chocolate cake from Grebe's. This is the best chocolate cake I've ever eaten. Very moist cake. We will be checking out this bakery!!
