I would definitely recommend Graves. I was impressed with the initial phone interaction, which was friendly, professional and helpful. We have actually used their services on several occasions and the work-product has been very good and the price for their services was always quite reasonable. Based upon our experiences with them, Graves is well-run and has employees that are really good at what they do.

I called for an estimate to get my garage door opener to fully open/close.. I was told it was $135 to "service" the garage door opener. They came, switched out the rpm sensor which took them about 30 minutes, I got charged for the part and the labor to switch it out. So what was the $135 for? I felt like I'm paying double for the labor. It ended up being 135 + 139 = $269. I felt that was alittle dishonest that the $135 is for them to just come to my house, which wasn't advertised to me on the phone.

After 12 years my single spring, garage door weight balancer broke at 1PM essentially trapping me at home. Called Graves and even though they were assisting others, Rocky the repairman was there at 5PM to fix my door. Job well done with a dual spring system that allows lifting of the heavy door if a spring ever breaks again and at a quite reasonable price. Thank you Graves.

Last week someone from Graves Overhead Doors came out to address an issue I was having. It's a new home so I didn't choose them, the builder did. I wasn't sure what to expect but could not have been more satisfied. While the primary problem with the door opening related to paint on the weather stripping that the builder must take care of, the technician who came out was super helpful. He answered general questions that I had about the door's operation and maintenance. I am very grateful for all of the information, which I know will come in very handy. I would highly recommend them for garage door service.

I had two other garage door companies come to my home before Graves. Each one quoted a different problem and the cost to fix were pricey. Today a really nice, professional man from Graves came out and fixed my door for the cost of a tune up. He said that I may need a new opener soon but this will buy me some time. I know who I will call when the thing finally bites the dust. Thank you for being honest and doing the right thing.
