First time visit. Quite impressed with the atmosphere. The service was what you expect from a Main Street Venture. Server was very knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a little slow at times
I have to agree with some other reviewers about the lack of seasoning on the dishes. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and taste good but something is missing to bring them to life. We'll be back though for another try.
The atmosphere was great as was the service, but you go to a restaurant for the food. It would not draw me back. The risotto was under done. And so not creamy. The lamp hops we not tenet and too fatty. The star of the meal was the side of mushrooms
In general I noticed the food lacked flavor and we had to constantly add salt to it, but it was good (not excellent). For the quality I got I think it is a bit pricey, but it they fixed the flavor issue then the price would make sense.
Regarding the dishes. The calamari and short rib were fantastic and are highly recommended
I brought a group there yesterday for a birthday celebration, This has long been a favorite spot. It was not crowded at all. Service was slow due to the fact that server was waiting tables, busing tables, trying to keep up with drink orders for multiple tables understaffed for sure. Food was cold and when it finally arrived and was generally bland tasting. The restroom were dirty and smelled of urine, carpets were dirty, the whole place needs a bath and upgrade looks the same as it did 10 years ago. Sad to see how this once great spot has slipped.
Went in on a Saturday for lunch, not crowded at all. Service was a bit slow for how empty the place was, but the phenomenal food made up for it. We had a grilled chicken Cesar and the eggplant parmesan. The salad was very good but the eggplant was to die for. It was thin, crispy, and covered in their delicious homemade sauce. I would highly recommend!
polite waiters/waitresses. good atmosphere. nice food, yet very affordable price in main street. come with you birthday get half the food bill, then very very INexpensive! Can't find anywhere else. highly recommend, for family too.
My wife and I go to Gratzi as least 2 or 3 times a year. Great atmosphere and food is off the hook. We get the chicken Marsala. It is to die for. I think the first time we went there was about 25 years ago and we plan to go back many more years. Love this place.
This is one of the best places in Ann Arbor!and underrated! It's a nice Italian place with great food and good prices. We have definitely paid more for worse, less satisfying meals in A2.
Max was a great server!! The manager, James, came over and asked us how our meal and experience was.
I really appreciated the attention to detail and the attentiveness to the customer. We will definitely be back!! Great job!
Pretty good menu & well cooked food. Nice ambiance. Kind of pricey, and expect a wait if you dont have reservations.
This is an upscale, white table cloth restaurant, but they were very happy to seat us with our two young, but well behaved, children. They even offered to make a children's portion of pasta with any sauce they wanted. The kids ended up ordering the Bolognese from the adult menu, and it was the most delicious pasta sauce I've ever had.
Four of us (two couples) ate dinner on this restaurant on February 8, 2017. We did not have a reservation and the restaurant was crowded. We were seated in a few minutes after a table was cleared. We all had ginger tea to drink which is excellent. It is brewed for hours and flavored with honey.
Love the decor/ambiance. Nice Happy Hour and really great menu. Excellent service. Great for special dinners. Wonderful birthday special, too.
Slowest restaurant ever. For everything we waited double amount. The food was extremely salty. The atmosphere is nice. Prices is okay. Food not tasty. Serving is nice. I don't think I will be coming again
