Definitely not worth a star. Seating took forever and food took forever and then was not correct. Got the bill. And it was incorrect.
There was a party of 4, made reservations online. I put a little note to get a booth and we did no issues.
All four of us got burgers. The two ladies had to add and subtract toppings but there were no problems. The food was great, burger cooked exactly how we asked. Great food, fair prices. Expect to pay between $12-$17 for an entree.
We try a new restaurant every time we do a double date, this one has been the best yet! I'll be back when we choose to go to a sit down restaurant.
We had their Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday and after the rolls it went downhill fast. Turkey was old tasting, gravy seemed like it was cheddar cheese gravy. Nothing was seasoned correctly. Even the pies were cheap frozen pies. Makes me not want to go back ever again.
Nice selection of American fare and a pretty good beer and wine list. Staff is friendly and service is quick.
My husband and I were looking for a new place to eat on our adventures and we went into Granite City Brewery. The staff at the door we're very friendly and said our wait time would be about 15 minutes, we waited about 5. Upon meeting our server Sarah, she had a smile on her face and knew all the beers by heart. She was on top of it even with a packed house, made food suggestions that were needless to say amazing. The food was cooked perfectly, and came out in a timely manner. I can't say enough good about this place! We will most definitely come back in the near future!
There was plastic in the pork!!!!! Wadded up and mixed in like it was supposed to be there. One hamburger was ordered medium and came out raw inside. A bison burger was ordered medium and came out medium- well. Chicken was hard as a rock. We had a party of 9 and the food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was piecemeal. Two dinners came out, then about 5 minutes later 4 more came out, then several minutes after that, 2 more came out and then 4 minutes after that the final dish arrived. Many were cold. One sandwich arrived disassembled with items in their own little dishes. It was to be grilled per the menu, but came with just bread. When this was pointed out, the dish was take back to the kitchen to be made right. When it arrived again, all that was done was putting everything on the bread; totally cold and not grilled. We were celebrating a birthday. What a mistake! The manager and general manager came to our table to apologize. By the GM's own standards, she wouldn't even eat at this place given the problems. And, her approach was non-empathetic and insincere (at least that's how it came across). The manager did okay. Although I had been there once before with outstanding success, we will never go back. I think the health department should even look into them since they served the plastic and raw hamburger.
Try the Sunday brunch but come early as it does get crowded. Never a bad meal.
A family favorite for Sunday brunch or a delicious meal with something for everyone. Consistently good food and service. An excellent choice for Thanksgiving dinner, it was outstanding.
Service was great!!!. Got seated right away. The call ahead and give them your name puts you in line like you were there then just head out to them and you cut your wait time down. We got there gave them our name and was seated right away. And these was on Easter Sunday. The Staff was very friendly. Now the food it was just ok. Most of it was just warm not even hot just warm. And it was our first time there. But the way the staff was I will be back for sure and give them another try. It was a good adventure. And had fun. See you later on these summer. Thanks
I come to Ft. Wayne on business a couple times a year. Over the past 3 years I've always made my way to granite city! Great food and great beer! The service has always been more then amazing (thanks Auston)!
Wish they could open some in Canada!
If you are in the mood for creative food that is still accessible, great service, and craft beers then you will love Granite City. This is our go-to restaurant when we want something a little special but not crazy-expensive. Comfort foods and amazing burgers are side-by-side with pastas, the best French onion soup, and perfect steaks are on the menu. They always have great specials and a fabulous Sunday brunch!
I've never had a bad meal. My family and I come here often to celebrate birthdays. The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. The steaks, soups, shrimp tacos and Pork Scallopini are some of my favorites. The margarita and beer selection are pleasers as well.
Awesome experience! Our waiter (George) provided excellent service and was very helpful in our beer selections. Highly recommend the batch 1000 BBQ pulled pork nachos! The double IPA and stout were both great as well. We will absolutely be back.
