Great food! Very relaxed atmosphere. Prices are affordable! And all the pies are wonderful.

Breakfast was served fast once we ordered but the food is only okay, and they way overdid it on the blueberries and whipped cream on my waffle. Good for kids and conversation, but dont set high expectations for food or service.

One of the things in really miss about Albany. Great food, great staff, never gotten a band meal or pie from this place.

I really enjoyed Grandma's. They have classic comfort foods in abundance. Think of something along the lines of Cracker Barrel but up two notches. I had the liver and onions, and it came with fresh mash, home made gravy, and actual non-canned carrots. Yum! The pie selection is daunting but my 10 year old and I decided on the chocolate creme, and weren't disappointed in the least. Craving a low-priced home cooked meal like meatloaf, liver, steaks, Reubens, etc, then give this place a go.

This place feels comfortable and the food is tasty. The process are right. They had so many pies. My husband got the pot roast melt that was amazing. My chicken salad club was huge and tasted great.
The service was fast and waitress was very attentive. The food took under 10 minutes to get to the table.
We were just passing through New York and found this hidden gem.

Service was friendly but a little slow. Had to ask several times for additional items. The omelets are gigantic and the home fries were done exactly to my liking. Bought a raspberry pie to take home, While good, I am not sure it was $15 good

Pie central! A busy place year round, but at holiday time there is a police officer in the street directing traffic. Grandma's pie shop not only sells pies. They also have a reasonably large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner which included some pretty good daily specials. A good choice for a good meal.

Grandma's restaurant has been around for many years. It is a cozy place with delicious comfort food. My family and I had dinner recently. I ordered the haddock dinner. It came with salad and boiled vegetables and was delicious! My husband had a roasted turkey dinner with salad, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce. It disappeared quickly! My son had the rib dinner and took half of it home. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and the prices are very moderate. Of course, Grandma's is also known for pies-many varieties and very delicious! Good eating!

I was also in the restaurant the same day Shawn Young posted about his experience and I, and basically the rest of the people eating around you and your party had a much different perspective of what happened. The owner tried approaching you and your party 2 times and you said you did not need or want his help so he clearly went on to help other parties, and when it came time to check out, meme era of your party clearly said they did not want him to check them out. People eating mentioned that you and your party were already arguing amongst each other in the parking lot before you even entered the restaurant. And FYI I have been eating there for years, they are known for having a very solid base of regular customers who have been coming back for years, of all races!

Most horrible restaurant experience ever . I am a dc resident in town visiting and pick this place on the fly. The food came out cold and/or under cooked. The manage was so unpleasant, unprofessional and out rite racist. " Your type aren't welcome here " . Refused to cash our party out and asked an employee to do so. I will be contacting a higher authority with my concerns and also relay my experience to the 5000+ social media friends. Will never return horrible and out rite disgusted.

Came in at 10:45am for breakfast waited to be seated till 11:15am, then realized on the menu it says breakfast 6-11am, pretty sure we were here before 11 and came for breakfast but when we asked we're rudely told it was too late. Worst service. Disappointment.
