Our family of 6 adults visited the museum today, we enjoyed the Andy Warhol exhibit as well as the Christian Marclay Video Quartet. The other pieces were great too, sketch art, oil paintings, ceramics, furniture pieces, something for everyone. Staff was nice, we had a very nice afternoon.

I love it! We went during the Andy Warhol exhibit and though it was not a very large exhibit it was still beautiful and.informative. I'd have to say my favorite part was sitting and listening/watching the Christian Marclay video quartet. They also have concerts but unfortunately we misses it during our visit.

I think there was more art in the gift shop than on exhibit. Most of the exhibit space was completely empty, There is an exhibit of Andy Warhol pieces, and then a 17 minute video and that's about it. I was hoping for a broader collection, and maybe even more information about the pieces on display and why they were chosen to be displayed, or what significance they had in the art world. Something that would at least make it more of a learning experience. It definitely wasn't worth the $10 entry price, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The museum was in the process of redoing things from Art Prize so only one floor of exhibits was available to see the day I was there. What I did see was very inspiring. The staff was very courteous and apologetic for more displays not being available. They also have a nice gift shop and the lady who was working there was most accomodating and friendly.

I would give this place a zero star if I could, they close at 7:15 during artprize which is way too early during a popular event like this especially for locals who work all day, artprize needs to step it up and do what works for the people that want to see the art and vote and make it what it is. Also they expected me to leave my backpack at the entrance, ummmmm excuse me?? U expect me to leave my personal valuables unattended by some random person while there are tons of people around yes I don't think so I'm keeping my stuff with me. Also if u are in here when they close all of the grumpy security people that hover over u and stare u down will walk around and clap their hands telling u to leave. There are several reasons, but I have had poor experiences with artprize and their staff including the permanent venue workers like this place and I think artprize needs to work on improving their very very poor costumer service.!!!!

Loved all of the beautiful pieces of art. So much talent and imagination. All the different mediums were amazing. Many forms of art took my breathe away. Amazing!

Curators choose thoughtful and exquisite exhibits and the permanent collection is so impressive I never get tired of seeing the pieces over the past decade.

Felt like me and my wife were being judged from the moment we got here. Also feel like it's a huge building with plenty of empty space. Doesn't seem like they have a whole lot to offer except hype. If your an art fanatic, I guess it's worth a visit, but don't expect anything to blow your hair back. I most likely will not be returning. Side note- the dividers in the bathroom between urinals are almost falling off the walls, it's a safety hazard. plastic anchors were not very well thought out. I suggest that management be more inviting of people that may not be from the "art croud". Maybe even make it more of an educational experience for people to help them understand the art, and therefor appreciate it.

Visited my hometown museum for the first time in years. I was anxious to see their new facility and exhibit space. Truly a wonderful location. I look forward to returning.

This place is always cool and inspiring. I love going here to view the various collections. They change regularly which is nice and they also provide special events. It's a nice way to spend a few hours wandering between the exhibits.

Came here on a press trip. Was so impressed - even after a long week of running around Michigan. This is a must visit, as is Grand Rapids in general. Art for everyone.

Went on Tuesday to check it out for free and I had a great time. Fun exhibits and kind staff. The Finders Keepers exhibit was unique and had fun local collections.
