The picture of the hotel used on every website doesn't show how outdated this facility is. The rooms are outdated, chips in the ceiling, stains in the carpets, no information packets, damp smelling rooms, no accommodations of any kind, hotel staff are no where around. NOT recommended.

My sister and I had to come to the Grand to use the pool, because the Best Western's pool is under construction. However there were lots of dead bugs floating in the pool (as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while). While the beach is across the street, my sister and I were hoping to have a relaxing swim away from all the crowds. Very disappointed.

Staff was friendly and the room was large, clean and comfortable. The balcony VERY SMALL!, with not much of a view. Hotel was still under restoration and the breakfast was off site with a voucher

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. If you are looking for a standard decent place that you can stay by the beach, this place still wouldn't meet that standard. Their bathroom looked like they started construction on it, and then cancelled the project half way. Chipped paint, tub with two different colors, and some unscrewed hand rails. There are no mattress covers on the beds, one of our double beds look like they were not fresh sheets but the person before us lovely sheets. Top it off a roach came onto one of our beds while we had all of the lights on, so he was definitely not scared of people. He looked at us for some rent and other payment. We packed up and left, see picture attached of the landlord of this room. Never again. Our stay lasted 3 hours total.

I gave 5 stars so this review would be read. This is a -5 star hotel. my girlfriends and I came to Hilton Head for the weekend, we are staying in a very pricey hotel. We check in, the room we receive was dirty had not been cleaned yet, get a second room, that too was unclean, get a 3rd room desk clerk enters room does whatever he needs to in there, then we are allowed After waiting 15 mins for someone to check us in. We Leave for dinner come back to no parking. Wait 10 mins for desk clerk to appear to ask about parking we are told we just have to drive around and hope someone leaves or park waaaaaaay in the back. So this is a 5 story Hotel with 10 parking places in front 6 spaces on the side, in which 3 are taken up by shuttle buses. Customer service is crappy. Didn't offer a discount for the trouble or anything!! When the clerk was informed of 1st rooms condition he complained rather than apologize. This hotel is "Grand Hilton Head Inn" I do NOT recommend this hotel for anyone. I've stayed on $60 a night hotels with better service and better quality room. Let me not forget the entrance to the bathroom is soaked!! Beware of this hotel this is the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel Let me also say that the house keeper is pregnant had tight Jen's on the sat under her stomach with a shirt that was too small and didn't cover her belly and had her stomach jamginf out. Very unprofessional, when I asked if the 3rd room was cleaned properly the maid came out of the room across hall have me an evil look

If I could give this place negative stars I would..
First two rooms were not clean. Get placed in third room and it's okay, but not what we expected for the cost. Crappy and unsafe parking and sorry customer service. Very unhappy. I do not recommend this establishment.

Great place friendly staff and clean room. Location is great as well the parking is an issue after 8 pm but all in all is a very good place to stay at for my experiance feels like the staff likes there job so thats always a plus no angry faces or anything like that beach is litteraly 2 mins away when I go back to Hilton head ill be staying here again. Thank you for having us and giving us a good experiance grand hilton head inn u guys are the best!!

I won't give my experience a 1/2 a star. This was the nastiest place I have stepped my foot into in a long time. We drove a long time to get there and the women's restroom in the lobby had the sinks and the plumbing on the floor of the restroom. Therefore no water to wash your hands. Then we ventured up to the room they had assigned to us. The phone had 3 inches of dust on it and there was a hole in the wall not to mention the dust on everything else. We called to the front desk and asked when was the last time the room was cleaned and that was the mystery of the day apparently cause he had no words. He sent someone up with another set of room keys and we decided, we weren't going to do the magical chairs rooms and left. The man at the front desk didn't even look up. Just save yourself the time and money..Don't book here!
