What sells this place is the service. Very personable and attentive staff. For regulars you have the perks of "hometown" relationships with everyone from fellow patrons to crew members. Food is good Nothing you wouldn't expect from a diner of its kind. Prices are on point.

I'd avoid going to breakfast here. It's pretty sub-par.Murphy's is much better for breakfast.

That being said, their lunch menu is pretty goodI especially like their homemade potato chips.

I really like the feel of this diner. Homestyle, a bit down the road from GVSU. Possibly the best sausage gravy around.

service was good but the biscuits and gravy were gross. the flavor taste like they add soda to the gravy and they were very salty. left most of them on the plate. wouldn't order them again.

Food was good if you enjoy Gordon foods gravy and fake eggs. Food was served cold after sitting in the server window for 10 min. Friendly but slow service. Not really worth the price.

Great food! the "Grilled-cheese-burger" is to DIE for!
Great chili on ANYTHING! Really good chili-cheese-fries !
Need later hours- especially on weekends! In a College town, you'd think they'd be open later !

Its got some of the best greasy breakfast food in Allendale. Great place to cure your hangover. Service is usually timely/friendly.

Food was good but the service was just slightly better than average. Nice staff just didn't seem to be there when you needed them. We ended up getting most of our own refills.

Fast service, even on a Sunday with a full crowd. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I ever had, and they correctly grilled the eggs "hard scrambled" like I ordered (few places do this right, if they do it at all) . The chocolate pancakes I tried were also good. This is somewhere I'd go again and again.
