Great apres ski spot right in downtown Lincoln. They open at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with Blackboard specials that are only available until they run out. Lots of locals and skiers alike pick this place to hang out after a day on the slopes. They also offer complimentary self serve cheese and crackers. Very nice cozy setting.
It's okay. The atmosphere is very nice and they have a lot of options on the menu. The staff has always treated me well and they can be very busy. I only give them a 3 because for the price the food could be better. It's average food. You can find fresher ingredients (most things taste previously frozen) for the same price at other places in town.
Had a wonderful dinner experience this Friday. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and very charismatic. I regret not catching his name but he looked like Jesus and was a pleasure to talk to. The menu was diverse and reasonably priced, I was thoroughly impressed with every part of my meal. The appetizer of the day was delicious and my caeser salad was rich and well portioned. I had the sweet & spicy sirloin and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare, which is something not many restaurants seem to be able to do right lately. The steak was tender and juicy, the peppers covering it complimented it greatly. Adding steak sauce to it would have been an atrocity for how flavorful of a dish it was. I've already started and will continue to recommend Gordi's to anyone looking for an amazing meal in the Lincoln area. I look forward to my next excuse to travel to Lincoln just so I can stop in and try some of the other items on the menu.
Wow. I am appalled at the cost versus quality. First off, do NOT order the stuffed haddock. This was suppose to be crab and cream cheese stuffing. It was in fact breadcrumbs on one end and cream cheese on the other. What???
To start, I ordered a peach whiskey drink. My husband's drink was heavy handed on the whiskey. Mine tasted like watered down "hint" of peach drink. We addressed this with the waitress, stating "there's no whiskey in this drink" and she defensively replied "I saw them pour it (whiskey) in." She did replace the drink and admitted it was diluted etc. because it was the end of the peach tea mixture.
Calamari. Paid $1 more for the spicy pepper relish. It was OK. Don't understand the increase of price, but whatever.
I ordered a side. Got the wrong one. She insisted I ordered the one received. My family heard me distinctly say "French fries." But I got the right side eventually, so again, whatever.
Molten cake desert. Should have learned my lesson from previous experiencebut paid $1 more for a scoop of ice cream. It was dry, TINY and I could have expected that quality on an airplane. Seemed like it was microwaved.
Over a $100 for a way sub par meal. Never again. Oh, and I never write reviews but this was BAD.
Spent a weekend in white mountains. Our waiter here was fantastic, super sweet and always on point. We ordered the surf and turf. Lobster was amazing, and steak was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming through the area : )
Great atmosphere! Sat us just off the bar in a very cozy quiet place, after a long day it was perfect! The food and service are very good and I would definitely go back! By the way Nate is a very cool server
Gordis was an amazing experience for my family of four. I ordered a grilled Atlantic salmon with a sweet potato it was the best salmon I have ever had even the sweet potato was good and I really only ordered because I didn't won't anything else. The salmon was grilled to perfection not burnt at all and not under cooked at all usually it is a bit burnt when you order it from other places though! It was wonderful! The service was great too it was nice and fast the waiter was also really nice. It was the best food my family good find in New Hampshire I would definitely go there again if I was given the chance and there Grilled Atlantic Salmon is a must!
Bar area is classic place for apre s ski. Service is good and the beer selection is average. Appetizer special after skiing and free popcorn. You cant loose. Show up before the crowd and get the area by the fireplace with a couple friends. Earlier is better on a Friday/Saturday because it gets busy and the parking lot is shared and fills up quick.
Our Group ordered the Zac's Cut, Karen's Cut, and the Gordi's cut Prime Rib and there was no difference in the size of the meat. They all looked the same. The portions of everything was small. But our service was fast the food tasted real good. It was sad because we left not full.
The best food I've had out in a long time. Definitely would recommend it. Food was great, service excellent , and prices were reasonable for quality you get. Looking forward to our next trip to Lincoln to eat here again.
We had a family gathering at the Ice castle down the road. For dinner we decided on Gordi's And I'm glad we did. What a great experience we had. First off our waiter Joe was excellent! He remembered each meal exactly and we had a big party. Was very attentive to every need we had from drinks to more need Etc. We celebrated my mother's b-day the and we brought our own cake. They brought it out and sang and even put the candles on for us! If you are in the area and are looking for a great place I highly recommend them!!
We went and I ordered the long bone rib eye, I hope you have an appetite. This thing was a monster. Reminded me of John candy in the great outdoors with the old 96er! Great atmosphere and great service. Will be going back if we're ever back in the area!!!
