Goodfellows has been serving Mansfield, OH for the past 25 years. The owner is loved by his neighbors for providing excellent food, entertaining music and hosting countless community events and fundraisers. Not to mention bleacher seating for the Browns' games on Sundays, a courtesy bus to the OSU games on Saturdays, live local bands and DJs, chili cook-offs, Beards Behind Bars, green draft's on St. Patrick's day, the list goes on and on. If you are looking for a fun place to grab a cold drink or piping hot Stromboli, drop by any day of the week.

Goodfellows is locally operated by an owner who is constantly working to improve the location and experience. He has donated the space for many fundraisers benefiting Mansfield area groups, raising over $100,00 this year alone. He even offers shuttles home for those who had a bit too much fun. The surrounding neighborhood enjoys the different bands that play on Friday and Saturday nights. Stating that it is nice to get some yard work done to the music or just sit back and start a fire and open a bottle of wine and listen.

I'd like to start by saying that the bar and restaurant are separated by a wall and door(see below). The food here is excellent! I had the Philly Cheese Steak with natural cut fries and I must say it's the best that I've had in a long time. They do it right! The guys that work there are very friendly. I also believe they're under new ownership. I will definitely return and recommend the Philly Cheese Steak. I've been reading the other reviews and a few people are saying they don't like people of color. I can't speak for the bar side of this place but the restaurant owner and staff seemed welcoming to me.
