First time ordering from this resturant, I called in my order for take out. The gentlemen who took my order was very friendly and let me know that my food would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived a few minutes past that and my food was ready to go. The staff was friendly, prompt, and kind. The reason I gave this review 3 stars was only because of the quality of the food. The fried rice was very disappointing, it tasted like regular white rice that had been sitting out for a while even though it was hot, the chicken was ok, and the vegtables roll was the only thing I really enjoyed. Customer service was fantastic, but the food was mediocre.

Started going to this restaurant 7 years ago andnit was fantastic. We stopped going for a while after a bad experience and have now been twice in the last couple months. The food was not very good last time and tonight it was downright horrible. No one in my family could finish their food. Fried rice tasted like cardboard and everything else was bland with an off taste. The most flavor was the shrimp in mine and it tasted like iodine. I won't be wasting my money there anymore

Golden Sun is one of our favorite restaurants. Everyone is so hospitable and the food is great. Whenever we have visitors we take them here, and they never disappoint.

Great food Reasonable prices and the staff are always nice. We have had it delivered once a week for 7 years. Always hot and fresh. We habe moved out of the delivery range but still do a call in and take out. They even remember to put in an extra bags of chips for our puppers!

The atmosphere is pretty warm and welcoming with the staff being friendly. The food is satisfying, especially the house rice. The price is higher than surrounding places, but the quality of the food usually makes up for it.

I have been ordering Golden Sun about once or twice a month for seven years now. Best delivery service in Athens by far. My order has never been incorrect, they always deliver within the time frame and the food always tastes great. Dine in service is awesome too!

I used to order fairly often, but have not been lately. I'm giving it an average rating, but it is the best place to get Americanized Chinese food in Athens. I wish they had more options for veggie lovers, if you ask, they will make the Singapore rice noodles with veggies instead of the meats they offer, and delivery is always very quick.

This is our "go-to" Chinese place, although we've never actually dined in! We get delivery, our orders are always correct, the food is delicious and plentiful. The dinner combos are a great deal, you can get extras if you spend certain amounts of money (+2 free egg rolls for spending $20+, etc.) I like the taste of Athens Wok's fried rice better, but this food is a much better deal and wins for us because of that. Athens Wok charges way too much for the mediocre amount of meat, the minuscule amounts of vegetables, and over-abundance of rice/noodles in their dishes. Golden Sun was the first Chinese we tried when we moved here over two years ago, and we are still eating here. Like tonightyay!
