Beautiful scenery! Nostalgic museum. Take a table on the deck, you'll not be dissapointed. Oh, and the food is fabulous. Farm fresh prepared with pride, skill and creativity. Nothing ordinary.

I Googled.."special places to eat lunch in CT" and found Golden Lamb Buttery. The drive out in the country to this special place was so relaxing and charming. The food was delicious and presented in the most delightful wayoverlooking 1000 acres of pasture lands and a pond with farm animals and wildlife to enjoy. The barn, decorated with well loved antiques, flowers and funky touches was great to explore before and after our meal. Our waitperson Carolyn was top notch. We will be back ..again and again. Google got this right!

The restaurant is in an old barn on a rise, with views of a pasture from the porch having drinks. We were seated promptly, the service was very good and the food was too notch.
