Very PRETTY! So many pools to pick from. Bar service from wherever you're sitting! Drinks are delicious! Towels readily available. Very clean! Massages/facials offered. Rather pricey, but there's no limit to how long you can stay. Showers available. Seating was VERY LIMITED for a group of 2+.
We went on Saturday to celebrate my sister's birthday. The problems started long before we arrived. Originally they couldn't find two of the treatment reservations (lucky we called to confirm).
We arrived about noon on the day of the celebration while we were dressing the power went out. We tried to make the best of the day by having drinks by the pool but the pool jets were out and the drinks were limited due to the power outage.
We decided to have lunch instead, the lunch menu was also limited, again due to the power outage The Grotto and Roman pool were also down. There was literally nothing available accept the mud bath only to find out the showers were freezing cold.
They assured us this would only last about 15 minutes which was totally untrue. The outage lasted more than two hours. Giving us a little more than one hour to enjoy the facility after
making a two hour drive to get there.
I get they have no control over the outrage itself but how they year the patrons during these difficult times makes all the difference. Management was little to no help.
My husband and I went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was simply amazing. The staff was very courteous and polite. It was always clean and well stocked. Never any trash or used towels on the ground. None of the other people were ever loud or disruptive. No one was on their phones being disruptive. If a pool was full you just had to come back in 5 minutes or so and it would be empty, no one ever overstayed. And our couples massage was superb. I would highly recommend Glen Ivy for anyone looking to get away and relax.
Great place to go for holidays including birthdays. Been here twice now both times had a wonderful time. Wish they had a liquor license but otherwise can't complain about anything. Had lunch at their Cafe the food was fantastic, massages are pretty good as well but a little bit expensive. Overall a very worthwhile experience and will definitely go again and again.
My ultimate favorite spa. I live in Orange County and definitely worth the drive just to chill pool side or mud pool. Come prepare to relax. If open to try something cool, for an extra charge of $25, take a subterranean trip to The Grotto. You will come up to the surface feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world (work life). Word of advise, if you are getting a facial, schedule it for a later time. I made my appointment way too early and was not ready to come home after. Rather, I was chilling by the pool and got a bit of a sunburn. Highly recommend bringing a hat, it gets very hot in the Summer.
Upon arriving at the resort we were greeted and our bags were searched for safety purposes at the entrance. We were then directed to check in at the far end of the cafe and put cards on file to pay for services while we enjoyed the poolside Cabana. Anthony our poolside attendant was pleasant, courteous, informative, and considerate during our visit. Our group of four took the waters, enjoyed club mud and the grotto All members of the staff were informative and helpful if we had questions. Clean towels were readily available throughout the spa. I had a wonderful experience and will be returning again in the future.
Glen ivy is great. I've only gone when it isn't too busy. Parking was good and the staff is very helpful and accommodating when it comes to towels or drinks. Club mud is probably my favorite part of the visit. The mud is very fun to bath in I felt like a big fat happy pig haha. The grotto was also fun but short in my opinion. You basically apply a mixture of creams all over your body, relax in a room, shower In the following room and chill out in the final room, I'll most likely pass on the grotto next time around. They offer a large variety of pools and hot pools which are really relaxing. They have a restaurant inside and offer massages and treatments that I did not experience. The whole facility has clean towel and water stations throughout.
The showers, restrooms, and locker room are very spacious with different sections/doors throughout. They even include a spa in the changing room and a TV with loungers in the rest area. All of these are gender separate from each other.
I recommend looking through the website for more info and special discounts. Glen ivy is an easy recommendation for just about anyone.
Everyone that worked there was very nice and hospitable. The locker rooms are well kept (clean, lots of fresh towels). The salon was beautiful. Very peaceful. I got a pedicure from Crystal and she was so nice. She explained each step of the spa pedicure and listed ingredients for me of what she using. Very thorough. As for the waters, they're all very well maintained and oh so relaxing. Go early so you can experience them with a smaller crowd. They're small pools for the most part so they fill quickly but you don't stay in them very long. All in all it was a great day here.
Amazing place, great for couples and groups. The mineral pools are amazing and great for joint pain. The mud section is fun and actually does wonders for your skin. They staff is cool and very friendly. They have some cool summer night programs that we live to check out.
The price is worth if you wanted to spend the entire day here as they offer various pool exercise and yoga classes. It's really far from Los Angeles proper so you may need to stay overnight at a hotel. Food is good but expensive - buy the refillable drink option. The most exception item is the mud bath - the combo of mud and spring water works wonders on one's skin. However, it's not a place I'd like to visit again. I know it's one of the few natural hot springs in SoCal butI prefer Korean Spas.
Yeah, this is the spot to sneak off to, when you need to relax out for a minute. The mineral springs are great, the saunas are nice too. Get a year pass for the best effect!
My facial was amazing. I felt relaxed and my face was glowing for at least a week after. The pools cleansed and rejuvenated my body and soul while my skin was left hydrated and happy after a visit to the grotto. I can't wait to go back for a full massage.
This hot spring has been around for many many many decades. It is well maintained offers an array of food unique items to purchase and different spa treatments. Very helpful staff are in abundance as well as new fresh towels. Highly recommend. A little expensive but worth what you spend.
Went here for the 1st time and had a blast. So relaxing and fun at the same time. Food was delicious. Great portion sizes. Oh and dont miss out on the hot n cold plunge.its ridiculous!
The Mud spa is amazing! And you can enjoy so many other relaxing offerings. The food is delicious! Totally worth the price. You definitely won't regret choosing this place to rejuvenate!
