Adequate pizza n Italian food. Portion size for lasagna "family platter" a little disappointing .. basically two good sized servings.
Staff go above and beyond. Though it was busy, we were seated quickly and received fast service
I prefer thin crust pizza but the deep dish here is great as are the salads and service. The place is roomy, clean and well decorated. It is nice to have a restaurant like this in Minooka.
The most beautifully crafted deep dish I have EVER had!!! The cheese was so fresh, bursting with flavor. The sauce was robust and the crust was cooked to perfection! The service was spot on!!! I'll be back!!
Pizza is always great! Good meatball sandwich too. Service is good and staff is very friendly, including the folks that deliver.
This was my first experience with pizza in the Chicago area. We were passing through and consulted the Google where we should try and Giordano was the closest and highest reviewed on our parh.
Being new to chicago style pizza, we got a large cheese and a small sausage pizza. When I picked up the pizza off the counter I realized instantly the scale of our mistake. The combined pizza weighed somewhere in the vicinity of a fiat. It was literally all we ate for 24 hours and we still threw away half of the large pizza. So, keep that in mind when ordering.
The pizza was thick, cheesy and delicious. It tended a little salty for my tastes, but it was still a wonderful experience and I would absolutely stop again if I was passing through.
Decent food, but our waitress was a stalker! We both had sandwiches, I asked for extra cheese on mine and they certainly did not fall short in this category. We had Garlic Bread with Cheese for an appetizer, I wasn't terribly thrilled with the combination of cheeses on this. As for our waitress oh boy. She sat about 10 feet away from us and watched us eat. If we finished a drink, she was immediately at the table and would take the glass away to bring a new one. This was actually quite annoying. I personally do not like being watched like a hawk while I eat, and this was redicilous!!! If it weren't for this, our visit would have likely of been near perfect.
TERRIBLE PIZZA!!! We we're actually shocked at how bad the pizza was, ordered a small THIN crust sausage but the crust was as thick as a pan pizza and it was half raw. the sausage was in giant ball size pieces that we're barely cooked throughthe staff was totally unprofessional and we're arguing and gossiping right in the front of all the customersit was just an overall bad experience considering their reputation and prices!
Very disappointed. We live right down the street and order from there all the time. There deep dish is obviously delicious but can be expensive so we only get it once in awhile. Anyway, we recently discovered they actually make our favorite pizza, an actual Classic margherita pizza. We were so excited because we live in Minooka and the pizza options out here are super limited. However, when the pizza arrived we were so bummed. I wish I would have taken a picture. There were maybe, without exaggerating, five tiny pieces of basil on the whole pizza, the tomatoes were delicious but there were maybe 20 of them. I should have called and complained but I think that's literally their version of a $20 margherita pizza. I don't mind paying the money but deliver on the ingredients. Basil, tomatoes and mozzarella is not where you should be trying to save on ingredients. Very sad effort and we won't be ordering from them again. Looks like it's Rosati's and 2fers for us.
This is real Chicago deep dish pizza. Often imitated, seldom done as well as by Giordano's! I also love that they have gluten free pizza and pasta dishes!
Good place to eat but very $$ for Pizza and that wait is 45min from the time you order and if you order the deep dish pizza you better like cheese and crust. The source is bland but its what you would expect from a red source. The staff are efficient very polite and helpful. If you like this kind of pizza then it is a great place to go, It was just not for me so much.
When visiting Dollinger Family Pumpkin Farm Civil War Days, its our tradition to stop here for some Chicago Style stuffed pizza.
Service is friendly, and attentive. Pizza is real good. Recommend sausage and mushroom.
