Amazing experience! My mother broke a veneer on a front tooth while traveling. I started calling around and was referred to Gila Ridge Dental. They are obviously very busy, but took timely care of my mother and the results are excellent. Her broken veneer was replaced with a crown. The staff and doctor were caring, supportive, communicative and honest. Highly highly recommended!

I have had a lot of dental work done and visited many dentists in Yuma and Tucson. Dr. Garner is by far the best. He is amiable and makes the atmosphere feel relaxed. His work is excellent, and I have never left his office feeling unhappy with the quality of my fillings or replacement crowns. I have never had to ask for an adjustment on the shape or feeling of my bite due to fillings, and have never been in pain during a dental procedure. I have also never felt pressure to have costly work done all at once, but have always felt informed enough to make my own decisions about when to have necessary procedures done.
Dr. Garner also completed a cosmetic repair on my husbands front teeth (a small chip repair in between the front two teeth), which had been fixed twice before and didn't last, and 2 years later it still looks excellent. Hygienists have commented that even under light, they can't tell that there was ever a chip or repair in that spot because it looks so natural. My husband also swears that Dr. Garner is the best dentist he has ever visited.
The entire staff at Gila Ridge is friendly and efficient. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room, and have never had a hard time scheduling an appointment. The hygienists are personable and knowledgable, and the dental assistants are great at checking in and making sure you feel comfortable. I have had an excellent experience from my very first visit, and have and will continue to recommend Gila Ridge Dental to anyone I can.response / report this review -

Michelle f. Cleaning was great as usual!! Gila Ridge Dental has been amazing. After a long time fear of dentists, I have found Gila Ridge Dental to be caring, compassionate and understanding. Gila Ridge Dental has been an exceptionally well maintained office/facility. You are greeted with a beautiful smile. My most favorite part of each visit is that each person working always makes me feel so very welcomed from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave. It is exactly what you would want

This is the best Dentist in Yuma. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel welcome. I walked in today they knew exactly who I was and even took me in early. Isabel is great and very gently. Dr. Thor Thorson know his teeth and always takes the best care of me and my teeth! A+++

They were so kind and amazing. Im horrible at the dentist and they took their time explaining everything to me and talked to me to make sure I felt comfortable. I was telling them how my son just got teeth, and even though I didn't bring him in, they gave me a toothbrush for him! Which was super nice, and he loves it.

I had a great experience with everyone at this dental clinic. Everybody was friendly, helpful, and very informative. I was seen on time and all the staff made sure I was comfortable and understood what they were looking at and doing for my treatment plan. They were proactive and didn’t wait for me to come up with questions. I have never had a better experience at a dental clinic.

I called in today, 11/9/17 with a toothache and they got me right in this afternoon. Dr Garner and his staff are as always very nice and extremely professional. I had to be referred to an endodontist, but will always be using Dr Garner even though we now live back in town. Dr Garner took the time to explain how the nerve of one of my troubled teeth is pushing up into my sinuses and that could also be causing my headaches. Thank you Dr Garner!!

After 35 years with the same Dentist we needed to find a Dentist locally. I checked Yuma Sun's Best and my insurance web site then finally walked into the office of Gila Ridge Dental to get my first impressions. They were very friendly, accommodating and made feel welcome. I've had my initial appointment and first cleaning and couldn't feel more secure that I am in good hands. Thanks very much for the welcome!

I've had nothing but great service at Gila Ridge Dental. I recently got my two front teeth filled by Dr. Garner and he did such a great job! The staff are so friendly, I honestly have not experienced a place where the staff was so polite and welcoming! I highly recommend Gila Ridge Dental for all your dental needs!

Being relatively new to the Yuma area, I wasn't sure how to choose a dental provider. My insurance listed dozens in the area, so that didn't really help. So I stopped in to a nearby specialty children's dental office just to ask for advice. They didn't hesitate to immediately recommend Gila Ridge Dental.
I called and made an appointment, and actually arrived at the office slightly late. I apologized, and they said no problem, had me fill out the usual forms, and was almost immediately taken to a room for x-rays and such. The staff was friendly but professional, and the whole time I felt that they were looking out for my well being.
The dentist immediately came in, and described what was needed, and when I said that I was new to the area, and happened to mention that I found the gardening schedule to be most "strange", he related that he too was a gardener, and recommended a book to help me transition to the local conditions.
When I left, I felt as though I had been among long time friends.response / report this review -

"Being new to the area my husband and I needed to find a local dentist. It can be scary and until you walk into an office you never know what you will get. The office was clean, the staff was friendly, there was very little waiting. Dr. Thorson took his time during the exam so I didn't feel rushed. He also gave me numerous options instead of pushing for the most expensive procedure. Before I left I was given a detailed expense list broken down by what my insurance would pay and what I would be responsible for. It was very professional and I liked having everything laid out on paper to help me remember what we had talked about."
