I had fun. It's a short educational trip about some of the dark side of Key West done with tongue in cheek humor. I think what throws most people is the "educational" aspect of the tour. Our guide was really creepy and put on a great narration for us. Robert the doll is a curio who plays a significant part in supernatural culture - no matter if you accept the back story or not. If you're uninterested in history, perhaps the haunted pub crawl might suit you better. For this tour, I wouldn't change a thing although I wished it were longer and had started earlier. Great people and one of the best tours - a tour with a Key West flair to it.

It was something to do. We found a discount code online and paid about $20 a ticket. We laughed. We had a good time, we got to see parts of the city we hadn't seen yet. Was it cheesy? Maybe a little but I don't mind some cheesy fun from time to time. I couldn't find evidence to back up half of the ghost stories. They'll tell you all about the discounts to the 2 museums you stop at. My biggest gripe is that we asked if we visited the ship wreck museum the next day with the $5 off coupon if we could go up on the tower we were told yes. I heard others ask our guide the same thing, with the same answer. Went the next day, found the door to the tower, and then found out that the tower is currently closed due to Irma. I blame both places for that, but I suspect they're owned by the same people.

We found a discount that brought the tickets down to $20 each. It was worth that just to ride around for 90 minutes in the gorgeous evening breeze, and get access to the East Martello Museum. The tour itself was pretty cheesy, but might be fun for younger kids.

It was a dark and stormy nightno, seriously. It was pouring down the rain as I walked to the meeting point and while we waited to board. Luckily, there's cover under the gift shop where we waited. Also, the nice folks running the tour gave us all ponchos to wear.
We boarded the bus on time and got going. The guides are all in character as historical figures of Key West. We had a lighthouse keeper leading our tour, and we met up with another guide (Benjamin Jonah) when we viewed Robert the Doll at East Martello Fort.
I personally had a blast. I didn't see any ghosts, but I loved hearing the stories. I think anyone who likes history would also enjoy this tour. The stories aren't made up and the guide has lots of visual aides to go along with them. I also liked learning how superstitions led to certain customs in the city - like painting the ceilings "haint blue".
Another plus to this tour is that you either stop in or stop by a lot of places in Key West. I'd do this tour early in your stay in case you see a place you'd like to explore more of. Or in contrast, maybe you decide you don't want to spend more time than what you already did on the ghost tour. It's a fun way to get acquainted with the city and get a look at a lot of sites. It's also a very interactive tour so don't just sit in your seat and listen. You'll have a lot more fun if you participate!response / report this review -

The tour was great we loved it. I had always wanted to see Robert the doll in person and omg it was so creepy wow for us it was totally worth it we loved the tour. Our tour guide was Samantha and she was amazing she's was so knowledgeable.

We may have enjoyed the tour more if we had not already toured the civil war fort. So most of the stories told on the tour we had already read about at the fort. All in all as far as ghost tours go I thought it was sort of cheesy

The tour was really neat. Our tour guide was the Key West body hooker. He is an amazing guide who really brought the stories to life!

The tour was not scary at all and our guide was practically putting us to sleep. After about the 1000th "you're doomed" I was bout ready to jump off the bus! Seriously a waste of money!

Sadly, this tour was so disappointing. The guide tried to be funny but he just wasn't and spending so much time going on about Robert the doll was silly. I believe in ghosts but not ghost dolls!

Tour was very interesting and informative. Nice to know some of the history of key west when you are visiting. Some of the sites pointed out were difficult to see if you were on the opposing side of the trolley and it was a little pricey but overall it was a good experience

We have went on this tour twice and had so much fun both times. The tour guides have been awesome and we love the stories. The trip to see Robert the Doll is one of our favorite parts. We plan to go again this summer.
