We attended the German Christmas Festival a very nice venue plenty of seating & tables! There were lots of vendors, food, beer & entertainment!!! We really enjoyed it.

Fun place spend the day lots of room in nature and then have dinner at Bubba's Roadhouse for a great steak and live music.

We were there Sunday 29th of October for the Octoberfest. We have been there over 20 years every year, but this time it was the worst ever. Music so loud the you could not speak even outside of the tent.
The ticket selling stations sold only in five tickets each and there was no sign that there is NO pay back of unused tickets !
The last years we bought always many tickets above $50.- per person and we returned the unused when leaving.
Now we were told "come next year and use it then."
We will never come back to this stubborn handling of guests and customers. It is not the money, it is the principle of treatment as numbers.
The food also is far away from German cooking, you should hire a real German cook. It gets worse every year, sorry to say that.response / report this review -

There are several Oktoberfest events in SWFL, this one is by far the most authentic with carnival games and rides, a massive beer garden and a large tent with a band. Bring cash to make things easier.

Very nice Ms. Oktoberfest Pageant. Like the all the events this organization put together. Great people, atmosphere, beer and food. Not only great during Oktoberfest Season.

We tried a Friday night dinner, it was ok but the people weren't friendly at all. I can see how they went from 1500 in their heyday to the small club today. I called to ask about their choir and the woman who answered didn't tell me anything about the choir and focused on I need to come in and pay 100 first. I'm very glad we decided to try the club first, am certainly not going back much less paying 100, 200 for the two of us.

Great location and many incredible events, including the largest Oktoberfest in Florida. Great food in their kitchen as well. Open to the public weekend evenings.

For the first time in its fifty year history, we have a female president, a wonderful American Lady. More Non-Germans than Germans are members, but they all have one thing in common: Freundschaft und Gemuetlichkeit translated means: Friendship and homely feeling.
Every Friday night dinner and dancing- Single entrance fee $4.00 Membership for a whole year $50.00 = not much for a lot of fun!response / report this review
