Not a terrible place to bowl. Plenty of lanes open. A little on the expensive side for bowling. Pool tables were in decent shape but also a bit expensive. $1.50 is more than I'm used to paying for a game of pool. Staff was nice and helpful.

It's starting to get run down and the music isn't always the best. Prices are ok seeing how it's the only alley in the county.

I liked Brattleboro Bowl. It's an interesting glimpse of how working class folks relax in this area. It was raining so a group of 20 or so of us New Yorkers stormed this place without any prior arrangements. None of us had any idea of what we were doing but of course we expected it all to be perfect, right away. The young woman behind the counter had to take calls, provide shoes, fix computer glitches, take money, make change, and handle questions from jokers like us, all at the same time. She handled it with utter equanimity. She deserves a medal and a job in the State Department. The bowling was fine. We had a good time.
