  I absolutely loved Dr. Nguyen! Very friendly and hospitable. Went in for foot pain and felt like he really took the time to discuss what problems I had and how it could be fixed. You can tell that he clearly wants the best for his patients - he’s not after making money, just making sure everyone is as happy and painfree as they can be with their feet! Highly recommend!

  I went to Dr. Van Nguyen with an ingrown toenail problem. He diagnosed the problem, told me exactly what he would do, explained what I would have to do and reassured me that all would be OK. I told him lets do it. He did, explaining each step ahead of time. He was very thorough and gentle. I had absolutely no pain during the procedure and none during the healing process. I very highly recommend him for foot problems. If I ever have another foot problem of any kind, I will be sure to seek him out. Excellent doctor.

  Dr. Nguyen was very kind, thorough and knowledgeable about my foot problems. He made sure I understood what was going on. He took time to explain. I highly recommend him to others looking for a podiatrist in the Huntsville area.

  Dr.Nguyen did an excellent job removing two ingrown toenails.It was pain free and he explained every step before he did anything.I was so happy and pleased with the outcome.I would highly recommend Dr.Nguyen to everyone.

  Dr. Nguyen and his staff are amazing, very professional and personable. He is a very caring doctor, who takes his time with his patients, is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and, overall, has wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Nguyen came highly recommended for his expertise in podiatry care and I can understand why! He's a wonderful doctor!

  Gentle footcare saved my father's life. Here's the story:
  My father had to have his toe amputated while in another state due to a bone infection in the second toe. After he got home, his big toe on the same foot was injured, now leaving my mother and I to deal with 2 significant wounds. 2 months later, the wounds still would not heal.
  I called Dr. Nguyen's office to set up an appointment with a local podiatrist (with exceptional reviews, only the best for my loved ones!). After speaking with his receptionist Angela, I sent pictures of my father's toe to them - also letting the Gentle Footcare office know my father was in need of a vascular surgeon. Within 15 mins Angela called me back with Dr. Nguyen's advice to see Vascular Surgeon Dr. Knott at Huntsville hospital - Angela emphasised "get Dr. Knott if possible".
  Once he saw the surgeon, an emergency surgery perennial bypass - which was done 45 hours after the visit! - was successfully done in the leg so that his wounds could heal and save his life (not to mention his foot and leg!).
  If it wasn't for Angela (Angel A!) and Dr. Nguyen's (Angel B) referral to Dr. Knott (Angel C - Highly recommended!) I would have lost my father. Thank you! To every angel involved!!!!!!! You are the kind of people we need in your jobs. People who genuinely care.

  I am a 52 year old female who is on her feet constantly. Dr. Nguyen is by far the most professional and ethical physician I have ever seen. I have been seeing him for more than 2 years now and he has always treated me well. He was recommended to me by my mother who has been his patient for several years longer than I. He is caring and gentle and always errs on the side of "let's do only as much as we HAVE to do and more later if necessary". Great bedside manner and a wonderful, down to earth personality. We always talk about children (I am a teacher.) and my family farm. I have recommended him to friends and would recommend him to you too.

  Good experience all around. Clean office, nice staff and Dr. Nguyen could not have been a better man or doctor. He listened carefully, which is so important, and suggested the best course of action for ME. So glad I chose his service.
