  We had a party of 12 and everyone raved about their meals. It was like stopping by a friend's house for a really great meal. It's homey, delicious, and reasonably priced. There is something on the menu for everyone, including non-seafood eaters and kids. Don't miss their homemade pies!

  It's low tide in the Piscataqua River channel behind Geno's Chowder & Sandwich Shop in the south end of Portsmouth NH. At high tide the floating dock behind Geno's on the left will be about 10 feet higher and the ramp will be almost parallel with it. Geno's is closed for the winter but they'll be back in 2017. Great local spot to eat; terrific lobster rolls and chowder.

  Why this place has any customers, I have no idea. I do know that I just paid way too much money for some clam "chowder" which was more like clam soup. And the poorest excuse for a lobster roll I have ever seen..

  I have loved everything I ordered so far. The pie is extremely well done and home-made. The soda is unique. Everytime I order there its an entirely new and unique experience that to this day amazes me.

  This place is great. We enjoyed lobster stew, clam chowder, lobster rolls, and Shoals Pale Ale. Their lobster rolls are the delicious buttery kind. Not the watered down mayonnaise kind that you get at most places. Servers were welcoming and accommodating. We had a wild 1 year old with us and that was no problem, but we had to leave the stroller outside. There just isn't enough room for strollers inside. Great experience and great food.

  i was there today and am quite disappointed in their food. They claim to have the best lobster rolls and clam chowder and I can't disagree more. I don't understand the 3 .5 stars. If you Yelp, you would see the same reviews that the clam chowder is bland and the lobster rolls are not quite the best.
  
  The clam chowder ($6.50) lack taste and its runny. Basically it was potatoes and clams in watered down milk with pepper. I also got a small lobster roll ($13.99) and it had no appetite appeal. 3-4 pieces of lobster claw meat with 2 tiny knuckle pieces on a large romaine lettuce served on a suppose to be toasted hot bun but it was soggy. My total came out to be $22.39. I rather order from McDonalds.
  
  It's such a shame since this is a great location for outdoor seating and on the water.
