This location is okay. Waitress rarely came back unless we flagged her down each time. I kinda understand the no outside food and drink, but tbh the wait time is an hour and so you go to the other shops and probably order a drink and wait. Anyway, they are strict about that rule and I feel after that long 8f a wait, the least you can do is give a pass on that. Gen, I think I'll pass for a better experience elsewhere.

Went to Gen in Hawaii and it was amazing from start to finish.
Decided to give my local Gen a second chance on the hopes it would of improved over time. Came to realize it was a mistake 😑
Our original server we only saw twice and we had to call him to come to our table to take our order
Only got one round of drinks
A second server came as much as he could I think his name was Joe or Joel he was great but was dealing with 5 tables
Meanwhile our original water was mixing drinks 😑
Food:
Meat was ok
Sauces were old and salty specially the bean pace
They kept trying to change our grill every 20 min instead of taking our order 🙄

This is one place I bring my guest when they visit me in California. It's a really cool experience because the restaurant is super hip and looks cool. Food is really good too, all i order is steak and ribs.

This place is great for KBBQ! I recommend going in a group the first time so you can try more items at one time. There is a two hour limit but you will be more than satisfied. The only thing is sometimes the wait can be outrageous.

Always a great experience. If you are into beef/food wsting coma experience this is heaven! Service is very efficient and meat cuts are pretty good, specially the pork shop and the premium steak! The (unlimited) clear noodles are very good but don't eat too much of that It's all about the beef here!!!

This place is legit. It's a Korean family owned restaurant that host Korean tour groups! The flavor is much like the food I ate at Seoul. Authentic flavor. I love the banchan (side dishes).

This is the worse Korean restaurant I have ever been too. Every meat selections are flavorless. Only thing good about the place is the service. I would not recommend anyone to Gen cause there are too many better Korean restaurants out there.

Definitely come here! There are 39 items on this all-you-can-eat menu! The price is very reasonable at $20.99 per adult and the service is excellent. They are very friendly and attentive! The stand out dishes were the spicy pork belly, the premium brisket and you definitely cannot miss out on the rice cakes! The time limit is 2 hours and they encourage you not to waste the food but I'm sure you won't have any issues with finishing everything you grill. Highly recommend to all Korean BBQ fans and those who are interested in trying it out for the first time.

Went today.. Great service, selection, food quality and price.. Need more of a vegetable selection.. My only complaint would be it was incredibly hot inside dining area.. Reception and bar area ice cold!! Probably due to our hot weather.. But literally I had to come home and shower. My rating would be 5 stars otherwise Looking forward to 2nd experience.

$20.99 for AYCE dinner. Came on a Sunday night around 6pm. Wait time was about an hour and 15 minutes. Service was good. Waiters frequently asked if we needed anything, and they offer to do a grill change when they see your grill getting dark. :D

Above average all you can eat Korean BBQ. Decent price too. Good ventilation system keeps the smoke down and attentive servers are plenty. Recommend.

Great place to go with friends. Great value for what you pay. Food came quickly and service was decent. They were pretty packed that night so our waiter didn't come around too much but when he did they took care of us. The one pet peeves is that they not take more than 3 cards per group. Which is pretty lame. I recommend that you come and check this place out.

It was good and delicious food. The server was not the best neither worse. They replace the cooking place My family love it and it was really modern and industrialized building inside and outside. The most cool thing is: YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET UP TO GET THE MEAT HEATED.
