Some of the nicest and most helpful folks you will find… went in there just looking for a specific sized bolt. It turned out to be a unique size. I had two people helping me for as long as it took, sizing various bolts, pulling stuff from the back, trying alternate screws… they ultimately resolved my problem. Highly recommend!!!

At the Amsterdam Ave location.
Terrible customer service. Item was priced at $24.98 and the clerk tried to charge me $32 refused to give the advertised sticker price. Refused to let me talk to a manager and actually said I should go to Walmart for the item.I'm all about patronizing local business but with such terrible service, shady business practice and poor customer relations I will never shop there again. There are two other very nice hardware stores in the neighborhood, go to one of them instead! GCS is not a reputable business!response / report this review -
