Very nice family oriented Christmas tree farm with a playground for kids, cider and food available.

My family and I love this place. My son can't get enough of the giant slides and we loved picking our pumpkin here in the fall. They also have a place that you can get your own Christmas tree here. There is so much for children to be able to do. There are animals, food, country store, and tones of photo opportunities. Bring in mount airy it is a little drive from us but I feel like it is worth it.

I have never left a bad review but want to save someone else the headache. Went as part of a school tour. Only they didn't do any sort of a tour. We had to wait a long time before they would let us in because they let a huge group (11 school buses) go before our group of twenty something people. And we got there first. They could have at least let us in to play while they were taking the huge group on many hayrides to the pumpkin patch. I can't believe they would schedule so many groups at the same start time. When we finally got in and on a hayride they told us we could only pick from one small area of the pumpkin patch where there were tiny pumpkins that were almost completely already picked and piled up in one spot. Not much fun in that. Then they couldn't be bothered to give us a hayride back (not sure if it was a mistake or their policy) so we had to take a long walk back then up a long, steep hill with small children to get to the activities. They have lots of fun things for kids but it was so mobbed with people that it was hard to keep track of your kids and there were long lines. I would understand and expect this on a weekend but not on a weekday morning when school is in and when we were a scheduled tour. Not sure why they call it a tour when they don't provide anything tour-like only the power to keep you from entering until they feel like it. Simple management on their part could have made it so much better. Sad.

The staff interactions with my kids were so negative that I must report here and warn others. My son brought a soccer ball and was kicking it in a side field when a male staff rudely threatened to take his soccer ball away if he continued to kick it. What right had he to take our ball and since when is it illegal to kick a ball in an open field where no one else is? A respectful and kind request would have been much more fitting, and would have been gladly heeded. Secondly, my 10 year old son went to the car to get more water and upon returning to our family, he got mixed up and tried to come in the wrong gate. A female staff humiliated him by scolding him and threatening to kick him out of the farm EVEN THOUGH HE HAD A WRISTBAND ON AND I HAD PAID FOR OUR FAMILY OF SEVEN TO BE THERE!!! Finally, while we were in the pumpkin patch, my sons were being goofy and tossed a pumpkin on the ground (which I agree was not appropriate). Before I could speak up and explain to my boys why they needed to be gentle and careful with the pumpkins, the male staff member yelled at my boys and told them that if they threw another pumpkin, they would get NO pumpkin to take home Even though I had PAID for my kids to take home a pumpkin!!! (I felt that a more appropriate way to handle this would have been to explain why throwing pumpkins was not allowed and then to say if they damaged a pumpkin, that would be the one they would take home.)
In all three instances, these two staff members were rude and inappropriately harsh and severe. My boys respect authority and in all three instances would have been happy to agree to the rules. But they are little boys and need to be spoken to in kind and reasonable ways. I am still furious about the whole experience and CANNOT recommend this farm. What a shame! I don't mind your farm having rules, and we are happy to follow them! But for goodness sake, treat people with respect and dignity, and give little children a chance to hear and understand the rules! And DO NOT threaten things that you have no right to threaten!

Friendly staff. Lots of things to do for kids (toddlers and up). Reasonably priced admission, food, pumpkins, etc. Must try homemade lemonade. Has a outdoor pavilion with tons of seating for dining. Corn maze is super hard when you didn’t see that there’s a map until later but very fun. One actual restroom in front by market and then multiple port-a-potties along the outside of the corn field by all activities.

Back in 2009 I proposed to my wife here whilst picking out a Christmas Tree. Over the years we had some kids and keep visiting this place. It just keeps getting better. My kids are 2,4 and 7 and they love playing at this farm.
Simple corn mazes, hay, slides that are super fun, sandboxes, log houses, animals, lots of other kids having fun. We had a great time today too. We didn’t get to take the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch this year but I highly recommend this farm to anyone who has children ages 12 and below.

The place is HUGE and has a lot to do for the little kids. Our kids are 4, 3, and 18 months, and they all had a blast. The staff is super friendly and everything is reasonably priced.

Great selection of Christmas Trees! A big thanks to the USO and BAE Systems for giving away Christmas Trees to the Military. We've been apart of the program for 4 years now. Thanks again to everyone that supports our Nations Military.

We have come to Gaver Farm for our annual tree hunt every year for many years. They are amazing. We get apple cider donuts, hot cider as well as hot chocolate afterward. It is the absolutely the best holiday experience you could pissibly ask for.

Reasonable price, tons to do. Great family fun. I would say perfect for age 3-12. My baby didn't really care about it, but we still had fun. :) the marketplace in the barn was nice too.

Thank you, Gaver Farm & your lovely staff for always providing such a fun & wholesome place for families to spend time together! We are so blessed that this gem is in Mt. Airy!! We were there yesterday with Little Sheep Christian Preschool and had a blast as always!

Had a nice afternoon here today. Not the best if you want to pick apples for funcan only pick a full peck or half bushel (way too many apples if you are not cooking with them). You can buy by the pound in the market, though. However there are great pumpkin fields with a fun tracker ride out to the fields that's free. The fall festival admission seems high at first, but there's a ton of activities and fun to be had by all. Also, the doughnuts are delicious!
