Such a cool spot to visit in Santa Cruz. I came her recently with my girlfriend and it was a ton of fun. The hike in is a bit long, but generally the ground is flat and easy to navigate. Once there the hike down to the water is a bit steep, so make sure you have the proper footwear on. The Garden itself is very peaceful. When we went there where many other visitors there as well. There was plenty of space for everyone to have a spot and the water was very cold. There is also a cliff jump that was very exciting but in all honesty was a bit dangerous as the water was not clear enough to see where you are going to land. All in all it was a great adventure! Make sure to bring lots of water, snacks, blankets, backpacks and the right shoes.
very nice lots to do but make sure to try to go on a hot day as well as after it has rained. The water is really cold and you must hike for about 15 minutes from the beginning of the trail head to garden of eden. Remember that there is no cellphone reception so if you need a ride try to arrange one beforehand. It gets pretty shady and therefore very cold so account for that.
Really strange people just lurking around.. And the water is full of trash.
Extremely kind and helpful staff and members. The facility is incredible and so well maintained you would think the facility is brand new. I was using a walker and everyone was so kind and stopped what they were doing to help me if I needed it. With 5 swimming pools many social opportunities and other gym facilities it’s a great place to stay and get healthy. I loved my experience and I know I will be returning soon to join the club. They’re beginning person package is really great also.

Beautiful, make sure you enter where your supposed to (where the sign is) ask other hikers on the way where to go down, otherwise it's too steep. Great swimming spot! Watch for the train.. it's not bad getting there if you are safe!
