These folks get it done right. No pressure sales. Friendly and helpful.
I'll start by saying I bought my vehicle new from Galesburg Ford after finding it on a popular car searching/buying website. I was contacted by Galesburg who had, hands-down, the best price of any of the competing dealerships. The salespeople are prenominal.
This most recent trip was for routine mileage maintenance. I've used the service department before and this trip was no different. Calling to schedule service is a breeze. They're incredibly nice over the phone. The shop is clean and has a good layout. Service itself is quick. I have no complaints. They even offer no-charge rentals, provided you ask far enough in advance.
I will continue to frequent Galesburg Ford. They've earned a customer for life.
Purchased last 5 vehicles here. Good service department, too.
I was looking for something very specific, and found it elsewhere, but the atmosphere is actually something Not loathsome. That's pretty rare for a car dealership.
We spent around $2,000 at Galesburg ford to get my husbands mustang fixed up after not driving it for a year. One of items they fixed was the fuel pump. When we got the car back we found that we were unable to fill the gas take without letting the gas trickle in. Our friend who is a mechanic told us that they do indeed pull then whole fuel neck out when fixing the pump. When we called Galesburg ford to let them know that there was an issue they had us bring the car back in. They called and said there was a piece of the fuel neck broken which was causing the issue. They claimed that couldn't have caused the issue. Even though they just had worked in this area. There was never a problem filling the gas tank before Galesburg ford serviced the car. They offered to fixed it for $500. We said no thanks (since we just spent $2000 the week before) and picked up the car.
We're constantly reminded about how crappy the service at Galesburg ford is every time it takes us 15 minutes to fill our gas tank.
Worst Ford dealer I've been to
Great place and good people.
Horrible, totally screwed us on a Mustang deal, we had a deal and then when we came in to pay it was 1200 more, do NOT deal with these guys, they are very pushy and then change the deal at last minute, just go to Kalamazoo.we saved 1000 additional!! It's a no-brainer, Galesburg Ford sucks people.
I had my car serviced today and it was the best experience I've ever had in getting a car repaired. We had an appointment for oil change and other stuff that needs to be done on a schedule: check brakes, rotate tires, etc. I even had a problem with my visor that I didn't know if it could be fixed. I had broken the original one off and ordered a new one, tried to install it but had to cut the cords off of the original one but couldn't reach in to plug in the new one. They got that fixed, everything else done plus a recall service that I didn't even know was issued. Fast, reliable and professional.
A great little dealership in Galesburg! We drove from GR and was happy to receive really great service. Darrin was very attentive and friendly, not a high pressure sales guy. Bill, was awesome with the paperwork and was more than accommodating when we forgot a couple of crucial pieces for the paperwork! I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership.
Chevys are way better than any ford will ever be. Plus I don't like having to walk home because my ford broke down. GO CHEVY
