Warm and friendly atmosphere. Attentive, professional staff. Chef came out to greet and check on the guests. Food and drinks were wonderful. Enjoyed every dish we ordered.

I visited Froggy’s with a friend for the first time. What a special place. Service was quick. Our waiter was so helpful with the menu and wine selection. Ordered the artichoke cold plate, a mushroom ravioli for appetizers and filet medallions as the main course. A beautiful well priced bottle of Alexander Valley wine was a great compliment to our meal. Bread pudding dessert was decadent. This is a lovely place to visit in Highwood, especially if you like French cuisine.

We came here tonight on a whim after being scared off from another restaurant where they literally could not fit more people in than were there. Highwood as a whole is dicey about distancing, so fair warning.
Anyway, we stopped in to check out the menu and while slightly limited, a really good variety of both apps, meals and drinks. And while they also had a decent crowd, tables are decently spread out and we were much more comfortable here.
To start, the drinks (martinis) were well made and the beer selection is one of the better ones in town.
Apps were fantastictons of selection and the mushroom and truffle ravioli were excellent.
Mains are where it's a bit limited, but good split of meat v fish. Little heavy on the fish v meat for a French restaurant, but in the end, not a big deal. We had the beef tenderloin and duck and both were solid.
We were too full for dessert, but there was a great menu as well.
Great staff as well, which was a bonus as the current labor squeeze has resulted in some sub-optimal service at other places of late.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. For starters, we ordered a cheese plate as our appetizer and there was mold on the cheese (see photo). Secondly, there were fruit flies flying around the table (that should’ve been the sign to leave) and one even landed in my glass of wine. On top of that, the server did not have clue about any items on the menu and service was poor for how dead the restaurant was.There were umbrellas covering the ceiling as what seems to be some kind of strange decorating style. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, specifically for the food and fruit flies alone.
