This is a great shop. Well curated and packed with variety for such a small place. Parking can be a little tough in that part of Newport Beach but it's worth it. The counter folks never seem to be happy to see customers when it's time to check out. But, oh well. I guess that's part of the "indie" vibe. The sister shop next door with more graphic novels etc. is really fun and the sales guy that helped me one day was super friendly. I knocked off one star just because the staff can be surly at times.

I like all the "Friends of the Library" bookstores and I've been to many of them. This one seems to have slightly higher prices for used books and they seem to save a lot the books for the 'big sales' they have throughout the year.
