Had dinner here for the boat parade and also celebrated a birthday that night.
The MaiTai's kicked my butt and didn't taste strong at all, seared Ahi app was refreshing with a zing of flavor. Dinner was fantastic the filet mignon was flavorful and melted like butter in your mouth. The Sea bass was lite and filling . And the reduction that was served with the sea bass was exactly what was needed to complete the flavor profile,Delicious!!
My favorite was the lobster mash potatoes, every forkload of mashed had a succulent piece of lobster mixed in the buttery potatoes. These are to die for.

I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was very tough and tasted like it was a little bit old like it had been grilled before and they just warmed it up. And the restaurant sort of had a funny smell but I guess it could have been from the bar may be spilled beer? But the parking is what really kicked it for me. They charge $7 for valet and I'm handicapped and then they fill up all their handicap spaces and say you can't park there. If I could give them zero Stars I would.

Came here with a group on a Friday during happy hour and the waitress had the worst kind of attitude. She was giving one of our guys grief for wearing a tank top and insisted he had to wear another shirt.which would make sense if it wasn't for the fact that all the waitresses and 3 women at the bar were all wearing tank tops/camisoles. She barely came by to the tables forcing guests to go to the bar instead. People like to come during happy hours and if you act disgruntled and rude no one will stop by. I would not come here again.

WOW, this is THE happening place in Newport, one of the VERY few with outside bars that have a view of Newport Harbor. You can park your boat outside and come on in! The Mai Tai's are fabulous and so are the barkeeps: Angie, Matt, Scooter, Brad…the best! Try the sausage platter or the ceviche. Yummy! Lots of pretty ladies too if that’s your thing LOL. Really love this place.

Don't really know what's going on here, but the music yesterday was awful. ..did they change radio station or something? Also, the bartenders (guys) are all wearing the same shirts. ..what's up with that? I really enjoyed the different Hawaiian shirts everyday. ..how. ..BORING! Also kinda sexist, the girl bartenders are still in their tanktops. Come on Billy's.it wasn't broken, don't try to fix it!
