Highly recommended to go here. Limited toppings which is fine, CASH only, what threw us off is the crust. Barely any sauce, and the crust was really crunchy and thin and tasteless. Thin pizza crust is supposed to have flavor
As far as pizza places go this has more of a cult following than it deserves. 4 toppings, 5 if you count cheese is not very over whelming. They do not offer ramono cheese or crushed red peppers. There are easily 4 other places within 10 miles well worth looking into that are not large franchise places.
A nice piece of Grand Haven history - feels the same now as it probably did many years ago. They don't take credit card payment. They have a couple of pizza options and a couple of drink options, so plan on tradition coming along with a narrow set of options. If you like thin crust pizza, you'll probably like what they have to offer.
I love the pizza and the simplicity of this place. No frills. Cash or check. Original building with only one item on the menu-pizza! Choice of 5 toppings, with one being anchovies. Choice of drinks-bar. Simple is best!
Pizza is unique and delicious. Family owned but beware they only accept cash but luckily enough they do have an ATM inside. I recommend their All The Way minis anchovies!
Wow! What a great pizza! I had remembered when I went years ago that the pizza was sloppy and a pool of grease. I'm glad to come back this past summer with my family and remove those misconceptions. I like the very small menu as it makes choosing very simple and easy. Fricano's really knows pizza.
Our server was really good! But, I don't know what all the fuss is about. We got two pizzas, undercooked, greasy, and it seemed like there was no sauce on them. Wayyy too much cheese.
Unbelievably great pizza. You won't find a tastier pizza anywhere. Great authentic Italian pizza with a thin crust. A place you don't need to be embarrassed by eating an entire pizza. Just REMEMBER, they only take cash or check. If you didn't bring cash, they have an on-site ATM.
Some of the best thin crust you'll ever find. But beware: the pizza is so thin, you should order at least a whole pie for yourself. I'm a 130 lb female with a normal appetite, and I can put away and entire pizza here pretty easily.
Baffled by the rave reviews (which is what made us try it). Located in what looks like a run down house, only thing offered here is pizza-1 sized thin crust with 5 toppings to choose from (no menu, just a paper placemat with the toppings listed). Inexpensive but it's nothing special and had burnt edges. Served on a paper plate. No salad to add, etc. Doesn't accept credit cards. Pleasant staff.
I've gone here my whole life and can definitely say that things have changed. The pizza now tastes blah and not the deliciousness I remember from growing up. The Muskegon location is much better in taste. Not sure what they've (GH) done to their pizza, but they NEED to change back.
Pizza is very good. Place is always busy. Good local hangout.
Love the thin crust. I have always had good service. Would recommend.
I've been coming to Fricano's since I was a child and will continue, the staff is great especially Jill she is so pleasant. Always happy and friendly
Super-thin crust. Pizza only item on menu. Only five toppings available, but it doesn't matter. Very simple and delicious pizza.
