Went there for stomach and what i thought was nerve pain they tell me its probably an ulcer.. but they dont test there they randomly put IV in me which i didnt need.. and turns out it wasnt ulcers it was infection in my liver abd kidneys i came close to seeing the other side. Because. I figure a diet would keep ulcer pain away.

If there was a saint for greed, this hospital should be named after him
Prior to having a service, I performed due diligence to ensure this facility was "in-network" with my insurance. Both my insurance and the facility verbally confirmed they were. After having the service, my insurance company approved and paid the claim at the contracted (discounted) amount. Franciscan Alliance suddenly claimed they were not in network. They REFUSED to honor the contracted amount and demanded payment of the full rack rate. After two failed appeals, I have to pay 306% of the contracted amount to get these greedy wolves to stop threatening me. I can only imagine St. Francis’ disgust at having his name affiliated with such a dishonest institution.
Update: After publically exposing this situation on google and facebook, I received a call from a director at Franciscan, who politely promised to initiate an investigation. They ultimately concluded that they are in fact in network with my insurance and conceeded that the contract amount was their maximum entitlement. They billed me for the correct discounted amount and I promptly paid it to close out this issue. I'm grateful it got resolved, but one should not have to go to these lengths to simply get a hospital to accept their approved insurance.response / report this review -

Worst experience at any hospital Ever. Went to the emergency room with a fever of 102.7, diarrhea , and was in a lot of pain. All they did was some blood work and a flu test. Didn't attach my call light(I was so cold and in so much pain I could barley move), hardly ever came to check on me, refused to give me pain medication. Treated me like I was drug seeking. Then at the end of it all gave me a prescription for keflex "incase" I had a kidney infection. Freaking quack doctors.

I took my son here to the er because of pain in his side and he couldn't walk from it. After being there for 3 hours they said they THINK he had appendicitis and they could not do anything for him. I took them another hour for them to release us and told us to go to Riley.They did a CT scan at Riley and immediately remove his appendix. We now have a $4,000 bill from Mooresville on top of the bill from Riley and all they did is give him an IV for fluids. I will NOT return even for a fever.

My Mother Recently underwent Knee Replacement Surgery. ..Everyone was polite ,respectful and Professional. .EXCEPT ONE,
and she was so disrespectful, and rude to my mother Unfortunately I see this has happened more than once with other patients, & perhaps other staff.. However it shouldn't. .
I do plan to speak to with The D.O.N about the matter, And Fortunately ONE BAD APPLE, DID NOT SPOIL THE WHOLE BUNCH ☆☆
2 day's later and I decided to continue my review. After Leaving the ICU and put into a private room, I was so hoping she would receive the same care minus of course the rude Nurse. But No. Some of the Nursing Staff are definitely in the wrong profession.
This is the worst Nursing, Non professional Nursing Staff, I have ever met in my life
If I could give minus stars, that's what they would receive. Get it together Mooresville, Giving of the wrong medication could be terminal, An investigation needs to be done as to why there are so many unhappy, unprofessional ' s on your staff.
I for many (According to past reviews ) would NOT recommend this hospital for aftercare. ..
Thank Goodness for such Amazing Doctors, and Surgeon's.
A Rating of 2.7 speaks volumes. ..

I went in because i was having bad pain in my side. Come to find out my right kidney was infected and swelled shut. They admitted me and was very long until i was in a room. The only problem in the er was a nurse that didnt see the point in giving me pain meds if they dont last longer than an hour. Anyone who has ever had this pain will tell u if the meds work for 5 mins its worth it.
After we got up stairs i had a very nice doc and nurses until my last day there. If u go here and ever have a nurse named Wanda send her out and request a new nurse! She was the rudest person i have ever met. She told me that my problem could and should have been treated as an out patient and she didnt understand why i was there. Then after being there for 3 days i asked if me and my husband could go for a walk she told me that if i step one foot out of my room she would have security escort me back in. We spoke to the D O N and they offered to give me a new nurse but the damage was already done so i went home.
Everyone else was super nice but if u have a nurse named Wanda please ask for a new nurse u will be doing your self a favor.response / report this review -

St. Francis wau. Or. Casked way
Day 4. Head nurse promise to take care my problem. I'm not here for chest pain.
You know the old say shot in one hand st. Francis in other.
I askgod to take me. Apologize to him and made peace with him for asking to be dead. Even ask why you have not take me yet.
Now I understand. Day 4 no heart meds and my head getting better. Told my nurse I stop heart medication have to wait for appt.
What would God say right now. My child came to you and alet sayin you looked other way for medical procedure.
Some cheat pain like side. I stop control breathing and go on.

The RN at this facilities are VERY rude. My mother 72. I feel the staff mistreated my mother. Tried to call and log complaint, given the run around. Someone at the hospital stole my mother cell phone.
The staff do not care concerning their patient or the family.
Honestly I lived on this earth for 46 years and this is first I felt racism My mother was mistreated by the staff. My mother scared to call the nurse for assistance because they were so RUDE to her. Something need to be done about this hospital. Reviewing the reviews my mother was not the only patient within this year..stating how RUDE the staff is.

This hospital is an absolute disgrace.They do false billing,for services not given.They stonewall and will not respond when questioned about it.
My wife went to concentra clinic with a broken kneecap from a bicycle fall.Concentra xrayed and verified that kneecap was broken and would require surgery.The Medical Assistant at
Concentra called St.Francis in Mooresville and asked if they had an orthopedic surgeon on duty.She was told that yes,there was and we should come right up.W called Decatur ambulance and transported her there at a cost of about 1700.00 dollars.She was taken into the emergency room,a Physicans Assistant looked at her knee and administered a pain shot.
The Dr.A.Stern then came in,looked at the X-ray and her knee,agreed it needed surgery,told us that a few years ago,they would have just taken her upstairs,put a cast on and sent her home.I asked when the surgeon would be there,and was told no surgeon on duty.They advised us to visit a surgeon on Indianapolis south side the following day,put on a splint and sent us home.
We never would have had any reason to take an ambulance there if we had not been told there was an orthopedic surgeon on duty..we were billed 5300.00 for a pain shot and a splint.
We went to Greenwood orthopedic,s the following day and her knee was successfully repaired.
Total charge for surgeon,anesthesia and surgery center billing was 1500.00 less than
St.Francis charged for a pain shot and a splint.
I attempted to get St.Francis to remedy this but my attempts were not successful.I finally had the Indianapolis Star Call for Action line contact them.They then set up a meeting with myself and 3 St Francis reps.
I was assured that it would be made right.They did resubmit insurance and corrected some of the overcharges.I was told that any remaining copay amounts would be written off.
A couple months later we started getting collection letters for a 170.00 copay.I finally just paid it to keep it off my credit.
It is a sad state of affairs when a religious based organization has to resort to this kind of

This hospital is the worst!! The nurses and doctors are extremely rude, especially the nurses! They treated me like I was stupid just for asking how to get back to the waiting room.. They wait time is ridiculous! On top of that the room I was in smelt like mold/mildew.. I felt like I could vomit the entire time.. I would not recommend anyone to go there!!!

I had a wonderful experience with St. Francis - Mooresville. After my surgery I had the most wonderful nurses and doctors taking care of me. Even the housekeeping staff was extremely kind and helpful. I couldn't believe how wonderful the hospital food was either!! :)

The ER is a joke. Go in for pain and get treated like you're just there for the drugs. The PA Callie was super condescending and acted like I was a druggie because I'm aware of what meds I've taken and what doesn't work for me. And then tells me that the pretty much can't do anything at the ER and to follow up with my PCP after I told her the whole reason I was there was because I couldn't get in to my PCP for a month. Once took my daughter in for bleeding after tonsil surgery and sat there for hours just for them to say they have to send her back to Riley. Then sat there another hour waiting on an ambulance that they never called.

Took my husband in for chest pain and shortness of breath. Possible heart attack. They release him after reading the first set of blood work instead of the second. My husband came home, climbed back up on the roof to help me finish stripping shingles. 2 hours later, they called and told us we needed to come back because he was having a heart attack. Unless you have a death wish, I would recommend going elsewhere. Btw, they billed our insurance over 5,000 for a room with no call button and misc. services. I took him to IU health and incurred another emergency room charge because I refused to let them kill him. 90% clot below the widow maker. We were lucky.
