If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Foxridge has one goal in mind and that is money. They will scam you in any way possible, charge you for late fees even if you've paid, and forget about getting your security deposit back. They charged us over $800 to repair our apartment even after extensive cleaning and repair on our end. Thoroughly disappointed in their overall customer service as they never answer the phone or return calls. DO NOT LIVE HERE

I stayed here for a year between 2016-2017. If you are planning on moving here, be prepared to lose your deposit money and pay additional hundreds of dollars when you vacate. I left my place in a clean condition and still got charged over $600. I didn't have time to drag them to court but they would try to scare you by saying that they would. Anyway, I would say stay away to an otherwise decent community.

This place sucks do not do it !!! The people in the office are terrible ! They are not nice at all ! I was trying to make a payment on the day it was due and the website was down . Then they tried to charge me a fee to pay with a card . When it is there responsibility to keep the website up ! Then Jessica tell's me it's my fault because I waited. Really ! Also when we moved in there was stain on the carpet a really big one they said ( we are not going to fix it) the toilet stopped working after a week of being here ! The only people that are nice are the maintenance people. When I fist moved in the front door would not open! I called the office they told me that was not considered a maintenance emergency.. I was literally at my front door ready to move in and they were trying to say it wasn't a emergancy and they would get to it when they could. That they probably would not be able to fix my door today. I had to argue with them for a hour with my family there with our moving truck to come fix the door ! I I know it's closs to school but if you can live anywhere but here do it it will safe you so many headaches !

*RECENT UPDATE*: they will take your security deposit and charge you for things like "dirty window bc there was a spider web (spiders lived all in the apartment even after multiple extermination calls)," "empty box," and many other little things that are unecessary. So after taking our $800 security deposit they're saying we owe money. I know housing is tight, but to save you the extra headache please don't live here!!!!
This place is TRASH. they don't care about you. Just their money. They trick you out of even more money. They're rude on the phone. Maintenance never actually fixes the issues. Please live somewhere else. They claimed to have reimbursed me but won't let me see my payment history so now I'm out of money.
UPDATE: the wet area they claimed to have fixed in my bedroom clearly did not get fixed. I left to go home during summer vacation and came back to this. THIS IS DISGUSTING!! Now I have to throw belongings away that of course will not come with any monetary reimbursement. AFTER they told me the issue was handled. Mind you this was after they told me there wasn't an issue. Awful place to live, they'll evict you if you as so much call the police once since (my brother suffers from bipolar disorder) - I made dozens of attempts to contact 'Melinda' but she was always "out of the office" or trying to reach me at inconvenient times where I can't answer phone calls - before signing the new lease we requested to see her, the lady helping me sign my new lease said she'd "check in a bit" when I had finished signing my name to basically a contract I'm informed Melinda is about to go to a meeting but would like to see us. When finishing signing everything she greeted me and my brother nicely then basically said were getting evicted with no prior knowledge that eviction was a possibility over something not stated in the lease agreement. She also kept my lease papers I just signed, not sure why but hopefully I can at least get one of the 2 security deposits they have from me back. Also you can tell how much they really cheaped out with the interiors of the newer buildings - so if leasing; remember that a single run in with the "police being called" will leave you essentially homeless and in debt - thanks a lot.

Absolutely horrible place. Lived here for two years and was an ideal tenant, but one call to the police to help a guest with mental health issues from hurting someone and all of a sudden we're being evicted. Foxridge is a great place to live if you like broken appliances, black mold, paper thin walls and ceilings, obnoxiously loud neighbors, fireworks every night, and the most horrible staff I've ever had to deal with. The landlady, Melinda, cares about nothing but extorting as much money from her tenants as possible and is extremely rude. Please look elsewhere if you're considering Foxridge, the apartments are a joke for how much they charge.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! The service is TERRIBLE! Do NOT give these people your money! They have ripped us off several times and do not keep you informed about matters that concern your rent and living situation. Living here for a year was an awful mistake.

Looks like my previous review got deleted at some point. Basically, don't stay here. There are much more reasonable options in town without all the dishonesty. I lived there for a year and I would never recommend them to anyone. They lied to me about their pet policy (btw they refuse to provide copies of the "entire" pet policy, you only get to hear about the secret pet policy when they decide there's a problem.) I am fairly certain they came into my apartment without providing prior notice. The managers are extremely unprofessional. And you can expect to lose a good portion of your deposit for very trivial things (so don't bother cleaning your apartment when you leave). The only good thing is that they do a great job of cleaning before you move in.

Best neighborhood in Blacksburg. FAR better than TerraceView. The staff is professional, organized, and well trained. You call TerraceView about a problem and get 4 different answers each time you call and problems never gets solved.

We liked living here for the most part.
Pros: Open parking, trails, and pond are nice. Maintenance is super fast and the guy who always came to fix our stuff was very nice and helpful.
Cons: Stuff broke often enough that we got to know the maintenance guy really well. Every appliance that came with the apartment broke in the two years we lived there. The apartments are equipped with galley-style kitchens with next to no space to actually cook. For the area, the apartments are super expensive- we moved into a similar sized duplex and are saving $200/month. The apartments are also designed bizarrely-for example, in the two-bedroom apartments, one bedroom has a walk in closet, while the other has a standard closet, except that it begins 2.5 feet off the ground to accommodate the AC. For a complex catering mostly to college students, this makes zero sense.

The staff there is hit or miss. Some employees were very helpful while others were just rude. Maintenance response times are below average but do a good job when they show up.
