I have been here a couple times and this time it was on a Sunday for taco festival. The people I came in contact with that worked for 4th street were all helpful and friendly. They had maintenance there on a Sunday cleaning restrooms and such. Everything seemed pretty clean for all the people that were there. We had a lot of fun! I was shocked to see a dog there though.

It is a large open area under a ongoing roof with a variety of bars, and restaurants. I had the honor of being invited to PBR Louisville where I was recognized for my works done as a Victim Liaison for my fire department, and community involvement. They bring positivity by recognizing civic and military personnel. Can't wait to go back.

Wow.. What a placethere are live bands here..drinks, food of all varities, benches to just sightseeing the area and convenience stores. There are jewelry shops, clothing for men, women, and children. There is a park in this area and surrounded with sandwich shops, Food Court, upscale restaurants, theater and so many other attractions. During the spring and summer months this place is filled with folks from every walk of life. It is one of Louisville's favorite dining experiences or just to relax and enjoy the weather and the scenery.

It's one of the reasons I moved to Louisville, though, upon reflection, one should probably not make major life decisions based on exciting neon signs and nightlife opportunities. The good: a nice selection of restaurants to choose from. GB Brewery and Eddie Merlot's are the best. Einstein's has bagels, but it's kind of factory style. The bad: The outdoor concerts rarely appeal to me. It seems to be a line up of head bangers with no seating. They should mix up the music more. If you're a tourist, you'll end up here. Locals know better places to go. The ugly: When there is a concert you actually want to attend, the heat and crowds may drive you away.

How is this place even still open? I dread going here to be honest. The bar tenders are rude, probably because of the people they have to deal with on a nightly bases. The drinks are over priced, and to top it all off they close early. We didn’t know what time a bar closed and assumed it would be at 2 or 4 a.m. and went in. The bar tender had us buy a drink and as soon as we sat down they told us to get out because they were closing. They told us to just go out onto the street. We asked why they didn’t tell us they were closing and why they let us buy a drink if it was time to go. They didn’t have an answer. No one was there and it was dead on a weekend night. Not my favorite place to go. In fact it’s my least favorite place in Louisville. There are much better bars in Louisville with cool bar tenders and great atmospheres. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Very disappointing. Should probably change the name to Just Fourth Street. Many of the stores close early. Maybe this was because of all the construction, and the future will return the liveliness. Lots to do nearby!

Fourth street live is a hub for great dining and quality nite clubs. It's has various public events like concerts and other event's. With the increase in people living in the downtown area There is other places like pharmacies, post office and other shopping options

Not impressed with some of the bar's services. Food and atmosphere was great. The idea of bar hoping within a city block is cool. Be prepared to pay $7-$8 a beer and wells from $12-$17 with hardly any specials that I could find.

Great Place. Must see. College town vibe. I do not recommend bringing the kids along. Adult night get away!

I stumbled upon Fourth Street. It was a pleasant surprise. Very beautiful. Very relaxing. A fun place to be at. Very picturesque. Lots of bars and restaurants, and let's not forget the ice cream bar for ice cream lovers like me. A Must Visit spot in Louisville.

My wife and I always have a great time here! Love coming to hang out with friends and relax with a few drinks. I only took one star away because there is always a constant rotation of bars and restaurants. It seems that only a few can stay in business here even though it's one of the busiest places in the entire city.

Only fun when really busy which isn't often. This place has no soul like so many other bar scenes in Louisville. Very tourist friendly and popular with younger crowd if that's your thing.

This was a crazy place to go. I enjoyed myself. Was prepared to spend a lot of money because we visiting for derby but went here had a fish bowl of so much liquor and drank it all night. Overall I think we spent 60 bucks including getting in amd had an awesome time. Will return.

It was pretty fun with the off-road vehicle expo; the trucks were lit up and played music while everyone could see them from the inside of any spot you choose to hang out at. The Tavern offers many games along with its bar, making it a great place to hang out with friends and meet new people.
