You can never go wrong coming to this zoo. It's much more affordable and larger than the Indianapolis zoo. The zoo is clean and the animals all look very healthy.
Usually get right in. Prices are very reasonable. Animals and attractions will amaze you. Food is great! Cute gift shop. A fun time!
This is our family's favorite zoo! We drive about an hour and a half one way, but it is SO worth it! There are so many great exhibits and we love feeding the giraffes! The staff is very knowledgable about the exhibits too! We also love that by having a zoo membership at our local zoo we get half off at this one! Totally worth it!
I love this zoo. It is very well taken care of. The zookeeepers are all very nice and informative. I love to come here for class work. They have great camps that they offer. They also have sleepovers which is new to me. Overall a wonderful zoo!
A great place to go spend time alone, with a partner or friend and the entire family. There's a gift shop that's accessible without needing entrance into the zoo itself. There's a rainforest, African exhibit, Australian exhibit, Indiana farm exhibit and aquarium. If you need anymore information regarding pricing and more, visit their website. I strongly suggest getting the family zoo pass. It's affordable and you can go anytime during the season!
This zoo is definitely unique compared to others. They give you a real feel experience with the animals and their environment. Especially Indonesian part.. it felt so real. We deffinately enjoyed our time.. the only thing.. No bears!! :( other than that, it was amazing!!
My husband and I took our almost two years old son here and it was his first zoo experience. It was so worth it. We had a great time! The pony ride is awesome and we loved the giraffe feeding experience. Everyone is so friendly. We will definitely recommend this zoo to anyone with children.
I have been going to the zoo for over 40 years. It is one of my favorite places to visit. I haven't been able to get there in the past few years and have to say I love the new Australia adventure area! It literally looks like a cute little town. Has a great feel and a wonderful look. Good job Fort Wayne Children's Zoo!!!
I went to the zoo a few days ago and i can say i will definitely be going back to visit. I paid $14 per person and we arrived when they opened at 9. There was a crowd by the front doors right at 9.. I appreciated how helpful the employees are when we went. You can ask them a question and if they don't know the answer they will find it for you. At the entrance they give you a token. Part of the money you pay at the door is donated to whatever area you drop your token in. I thought that was neat!
Excellent place to have fun with the family. There's shade when you need it and the grounds are beautiful.
It's good, but for every one animal they put in, they seem to take out three or four.
Awesome zoo! Kids love it and it is very clean! My kids and myself love the new attractions and the aquarium! It can get crowded but everybody moves at a good pace so you will get through everything you want to see! It is a little pricey for food and drinks so come prepared.
Amazing Zoo, though still waiting for the Tasmanian devil. A trip to Fort Wayne, IN would not be complete until you visit the zoo. It's one of the best in the nation and is laid out logically.
Too bloody expensive. Low income families cannot go, not even on free zoo day because they have that on a Sunday when people that ride the bus can't go. Nice job excluding a lot of people from your venue. They should set up a bus day with free entry by showing bus pass. Go Green Fort Wayne Children's Zoo and stop being an exclusive club. Be inclusive. Was over $200 for 1 adult and three kids to do everything but eat. Small fountain drinks for the 4 of us was $13 no lie. Had to leave zoo to eat cold packed lunch, would of cost us at least $50 to eat in the zoo. Very sad.
