Takes great care of my Pookey.
Very kind and patient with my furbaby. She's a husky and very vocal. Lol.. even tho she was shedding like crazy they didn't get mad. Will definitely be taking my Nikki back there.
Very friendly staff. They even called to check in before I was scheduled to come back in for the follow up visit.
I had a cat that was 2 years old. He began urinating outside of his litter box. I took him to the vet (forest park) they said it was just stress. It continued to happen, so i took him back and they sill said it was stress. The vet would not listen to mei kept saying i didnt think stress was the issue. ( this was saturday) i gave him the meds they gave, any and every cat stress relief possible hoping it would help. I was worried about him getting blockage, but they assured me he wasn't. The next morning i knew something was terribly wrong. My poor guy couldn't even walk. I rushed him to the emergency vet and found out he was completely blocked. They did surgery to put a catheter in but they were not successful, bc his bladder was so full of crystals his urine was like sand. I opted for them to do surgery to completely clean his bladder out, but they were not able to complete the surgery. I ended up having to put my baby down. It was by far the worst experience of my life. His life would have been saved had i not taken him here. For them to not be able to see his bladder was full of crystals, or that he was blocked is mind blowing to me, especially since they supposedly did an ultrasound of the bladder and tested his urine. The emergency vet office was even confused as to why he was sent home the day before! So $2000 laterand i still lost him. I'm now confident that if i would have gone to a different vet i would still have him. Apparently thats a very common thing, and usually one of the first things they should check. 3 visits For the same issue in a 2 week time period.and they still didn't figure it out. They kept saying oh its just stress. They did call me 3 days after he passed to talk about his urine culture. Save your pets life and go somewhere else.
Great staff. Answers all my questions professionally and respects my wishes as a pet owner.
I absolutely love our vet and they treatedbour dog perfectly. So happy we found a vet who cares!!!
Prices are high. Don't expect even if you're a six-year customer for them to even give you an over the counter medicine if you are behind on shots. They will tell you to go to Walmart.
VERY caring, compassionate and professional. The best.
I've been taking my dogs to Forest Park for the past 14 years and have had wonderful care by all the staff and doctors. Its clear that everyone in the office truly loves animals and they always take time and care at every appointment. The office is easy to get to, appointment times are accommodating (they're open on Saturday's!), and prices are fair and reasonable. Highly recommend!
The Forest Park Veterinary Clinic Staff has taken care of our pets since 1975. We were referred to Dr. Lehnerd by a local large animal veterinarian when we moved to this area from the the west coast.
Since our first visit 40 yrs. ago, we have received the best animal care possible. The entire staff is always positive and very helpful. We are always treated as though we are the most important clients there. I have observed this same treatment with every patient and it's owner that walks in when I'm there. I have also noticed this same warm response with client phone calls when I'm there for appointments.
This special treatment starts the minute clients walk in the door. It begins with Emily at the front desk and continues with all of the veterinary technicians, and the Veterinarians as well as with Michelle the business manager.
The forest Park Veterinary Clinic is the best vet. clinic in central Ohio. We give it the highest recommendation possible! Nancy A.
I inherited a little Yorkie dog named "Mouse." He was a quirky little thing, but I loved him dearly. So did everyone at Forest Park. When Mouse died unexpectedly very early on a snowy February morning, I called the office and left a message. I had never had a dog die at home before, and I had no idea what to do. Emily was the first one in the office that day and called me immediately. She was so kind and helpful! She told me I could bring Mouse in or I could take him to the funeral home myself, which I did. Later that morning Dr. Lehnard called me and was very understanding and reassuring. That same day I got a beautiful plant and with a condolence message from Forest Park, and a couple of days later I got a card signed by everyone at Forest Park. I can't tell you how much I appreciated this. The sympathy and concern displayed by everyone at Forest Park was exceptional. I'm nearly ready to get another dog, and you can be sure we'll be coming to Forest Park.
