Haven't ever had a bad experience here, smoothly run little airport. In fact, the Delta agent there helped me a lot today when I couldn't reach the main Delta support line. Very friendly and helpful.

There was a young fellow named Cody who was working there. I only know this because I heard another employee call his name from the distance. He seemed like a kind, bright eyed and bushy tailed fellow. Anyway, one of his coworkers had put one of those "Kick me, I'm with Stupid" signs on his back, and he walked around with it on for a good 30 minutes before it fell to the floor. When he picked up the note, he wasn't even mad. He smiled and said "What would Jesus do. Forgive. That's the right answer." I have never seen such kindness directed at an enemy. Give this nice young strapping lad a raise.

You literally are harassed by the TSA EVERY time you fly out here. Worst experience ever here. They harassed 4-5 passengers.

I fly out of this airport several times a year. The staff there is awesome--friendly, helpful, and very thorough when it comes to TSA checks for sure. The restrooms are always clean and fresh as well. I wish there were a water fountain inside the security-screened passenger area, because the pop machine is usually out of water.
My only issue with flying from this airport (and it really isn't the airport's fault at all) is that Delta has cancelled my 6am flight at 1am several times now, leaving me in a bind when I HAVE to be somewhere for work that day. And to add insult to injury, you get that automated call saying that "We have cancelled your flight, but don't worry--we have rebooked you at NO extra cost to you!" You know--like they are doing us a real favor to get us somewhere later than we had planned and not charge us extra for that "perk!" Again, that is NOT the airport's fault, but you should be aware that it can happen, especially from late Fall until late Spring. If you happen to be delayed, you need to be aware that there are really no fast food options nearby--just vending machines. That's not a problem at all if you have someone waiting for you, but could be an issue if someone drops you off at the airport and leaves. Still, great little airport and people!!
