Cons:
Very limited launch times
Slightly confusing to navigate at night
Tiny - limited staff means your plane might wait on arrival

Pros:
Tiny - you won't have to move far to find your flight
You honestly won't need much more than 30-45 minutes on arrival to make your flight

Quick in-out airport, but seem to always be unnecessarily harrassed by security at this place. Got a friend a leather journal as a gift and it was in my carry on (in plastic to protect it), and security had me take it out of the plastic so they could sift through the pages. Okay, that's fair. But when I politely asked her to handle it gently so the leather wouldn't scratch because it was a gift, she made a big scene, mocking me. Loudly saying, "She wants me to handle the leather gently (laugh, cackle, laugh) how else would I handle it???! (Cackle, cackle)." When I explained leather easily scratches, she continued mocking me. Annoying and rude. I've had other petty experiences in the past as well. Sad because otherwise this could be a great little airport. Train your TSA agents on some customer service skills or at minimum, how to talk to people decently.

Sweet and simple for easy in and out. Car rental counters are in front of luggage belts. Hotels are bit far from airport as not too many options nearby.

Love this airport! Never before have I had an actual conversation with a TSA agent who didn't seem absolutely miserable. Granted, this may have been because there was zero line at the security gate, but that's just more reason to love it!

Signage Is Less Than Poor. We found the exit off of I-96 but that was the last of the signage. It is like they don't want you to find the airport. For the airport that services the capital of Michigan they could and should do a better job of directly you to the airport.

Watch out for your the bagging size of your toiletries. TSA will take each thing out and measure it into their quart size bag.

It was great! It's tiny and easygoing. Baggage claim is great along with the Spartan Club!
