What the heck is a picture of Woodbury Common doing in Foley Square's pictures? The Common is an outlet store place in Central Valley, New York, toward the Catskill Mountains. Not New York City. And I don't think the Common has anything named for Jacob Javits.

Comfortable park walking distance to FiDi, Chinatown, and Tribeca neighborhoods.
City Hall and the Freedom Tower are short walks South.
This park also serves as an unofficial marker of the original Five Points neighborhood.

The square is nearly completely surrounding by courthouses. A pretty impressive hub of judicial power! Considering the numerous high profile cases that have cycled through Foley Square, I found it to be an impressive place.

This is a small cute park by the Manhattan court buildings. You can have a nice glimpse on a busy while enjoying a cup of coffee. There are always some events here. This is a good spot for a possible date.

Beautiful buildings surround the square - not just a good place to rest your feet and take in the architecture, but is also a great place to see the New York County Supreme Court which is a must for any Law and Order fan!

I took a stroll over here after walking the Brooklyn Bridge. The buildings are beautiful! It was also fun to see as I love the show Law & Order and it is routinely filmed here.
