Skip R. was our technician and let me tell you.the guy really did care. He knew our furnace was shot and it being 5 weeks before Christmas knew it was gonna cost a few dollars. He showed genuine concern being that i had little ones running around the house and that we NEED HEAT! He told me that the company would work with us and make it as painless as possible and they did. Less then a week later we have a brand new furnace installed and can live in the house again thank you so much Skip and all of Burkholders!! A+A+A+A+

I love having my oil tank and furnace cleaned and, if necessary, updated every year because Karlo Z comes to my home! He is familiar with my dog, my home's changing floor plans - and the changing demands on my heating system as the renovations continue, and meno small feat. He is so expert with my oil heater that he starts right in on it the minute he arrives, draining this valve, changing that vent screenall with a smile. I like that Burkholder's goes out of their way to send me the same person each time so that we do indeed build a personal and professional bond. And Karlo is so good, I never see him again until next year. He is indeed a "Service Pro".

Karlo was at our home twice in one week to fix issues with our heater. It was the coldest week of the year so far and he stayed both times to make sure things were working properly. When he had to come out a second time, he stayed even longer to check and double check. He explained thoroughly what he did at both visits and what we should look for and do in case we have further issues. He was excellent!

Heat Pump was not working properly during coldest nights of the winter. Technician who came to service it was tired from being up all night with emergency calls and distracted b/c his child was having surgery that morning. He did not diagnose the problem properly. Called them back (they did waive the service call fee) and 2 technicians that came did find and correct the problem. Unfortunately, since our heat pump was running on auxiliary/emergency heat continuously for those 4 days our electric bill was astronomical! Had they diagnosed & corrected the problem initially I would have saved about $200 in electric. I am also not a fan of the service call fee, even if you have a contract. I will be looking for a new company for my next contract.

Adam and Ryan were experts on the installation team. I asked them in the beginning to do a neat and professional job and they told me that is the only way they know how and it was true. Ryan made the comment that they treat every job like it is their own home and it was evident in his work. I am recommending Burkholder’s to friends because they have a professional team who cares about doing it right.

Got my compressor checked by Dave L. Knowledgeable and friendly guy. I also had a good experience with the customer service rep who took my initial call. Overall, I think this is a solid business. They've been around for over 40 years, and have a good word-of-mouth reputation. Kudos to Burkholder.

We called to schedule a troubleshoot/repair and Bob the technician came to our house the same day! He was very sweet and polite, and very helpful. He figured out our problem and fixed it in about an hour. The price was way less than we had expected so we signed up for a service plan! Great job Bob and thanks again!!

Customer Service is terrible. No one ever calls you back and you can't get maintenance work done for 2 months. I have a maintenance contract for my central AC. I called for an appointment and they can't get anyone to service my unit until July. The season is half over by then. Plus the office girls are very unprofessional.

Dave came to perform preventive maintenance on my 19 year old heat pump. After examining the unit, he discovered several problems which he explained in detail. He told me it would not be wise to spend the money for repairs due to the age of the unit. I agreed and Dave set up an appointment for someone from Burkholder's to meet with me and present the options for replacement. I was very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge.

Techs were very friendly and capable. Communicated well and answered all questions. Managed to work around a number of challenges very effectively. Completed many little touches for a neat installation and cleaned up completely afterward. I was very satisfied.
