Really awesome experience! I took my twin almost 4 year old boys here and they had a great time shoveling, sifting and taking their prized rocks home. The staff were all very nice and knowledgeable and super kind with my boys. If we're up here again, we will definitely be back!

We visited Foggy Mountain Gem Mine on July 3rd and had the best time. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we were done with mining they brought us into the shop and went through everything that we collected and told us what we had. They went the extra mile to show you what it would look like if you had the stones cut. We ended up getting two stones cut and are planning our next trip back.

I went here with my girlfriend on vacation. Awesome staff! They were just as excited about helping us as we were about being there. Afterwards they sorted and identified ever gem that we had found. My girlfriend and I then selected two of the gems to have cut and they were sent to us in the mail with a thank you card!

Had a great time today! Got the big bucket and split it with my best friend. We each found plenty of garnets, topaz, emeralds, sapphires, amethysts and more. Chris, who is a geologist, was incredibly helpful out at the sluice and Daniel did a great job helping us with what to do with our treasures. Thanks for a great time, we will be back! Good luck in Utah Chris!
