Before I placed an order online, I was assured by Max K, Focus sales associate that both Fujifilm X-T20 body and the 18-55mm kit lens are made in Japan. I told him that other online stores told me that the body is made in China and the lens made in the Philippines. Max K. told me that those were probably gray market products and all Fujifilm products they sell are Made in Japan.
Got my orders a few minutes ago and sure enough, the body is made in China and the lens is made in the Philippines. Maybe there's nothing wrong having those products made in those countries, but intentionally giving false information just to make the sale is reprehensible!
I used to order from Focus and they always deliver what they promised, but now that trust is gone.
UPDATE: They rectified their mistake. The fact is, even in other stores (“brick & mortar” & online) both the camera and kit lens are made in countries other than Japan. They offered me an extended warranty to give me peace of mind.response / report this review -

Called last week to preorder a new camera. Gentleman on the phone took my number and called me back a couple times to get my information and to tell me he would update me on the status of the camera. I called to get an update today and he told me that they didn't have my order because it was never preordered. Don't waste your time with these folks.

Very knowledgeable and nice salesperson. Great selection on hand and competitive prices.

Don't waste your time on this online shop.
I bought an item sold as new. They sent used one. After I claimed it was used, they just sent me prepaid shipping label for return. At least they response quick. Hoping the refund will be done quickly as well.response / report this review -

I will say that many reviews on here are very scary. I ordered 2k worth of camera gear that was a package deal. I didn't read reviews on the place because everything seemed legit. I was nervous waiting for my package to come in the mail. Will the camera be missing or stuff damaged I was sweating bullets. I ordered the package on Saturday and Tuesday I still didn't review any type of order confirmation other then my card being charged.
I was nervous so I emailed them asking when they will be shipping my stuff. Within 1 hour I received a tracking number and by the next day my camera was at my house. Everything just as it was described all brand new in box with no problems what so ever. I am only giving 4 stars because of the lack of communication when you place an order but besides that I will definitely order from them again. I understand the weekends you are closed but just expected some type of confirmation by Monday. I have no problems with this company.response / report this review -

Horrible bought a laptop for Christmas for my kid from Santa laptop was broke didn't work how am I supposed to return a laptop to santa. They said they don't check the computers before selling them this shop should be shut down maggot ny punks

I purchased a high end Canon DSLR at a fair price. They asked if I wanted to buy an accessories. I declined and the individual behind the counter became aggressive saying that he would let me purchase the Dslr this time but I have to purchase overpriced accessories next time if I wanted to purchase from them. Very nasty. They lost my business. It's the end of the retail outlets anywayAmazon, Ebay, and the countless other e-tailors are putting these guys out of busniess. Lets face itIf you know the quality of the product and the manufacturer warrenty covers the priduct why do we need these guys. B&H is different story. Good prices, great return policy and friendly service.

Called these guys looking for a hard to find lens that they didn't have. I didn't leave my name or anything but when one unexpectedly showed up at their store they remembered me and called me first. Then they shipped it next day for no additional charge. Great experience.

purchased a camera on amazon from focus. received the camer with the wrong cable. Called amazon and focus to replace the cable its been a month no results. terrible experience why does amazon do business with this type of company???????????.
