My family and I visited the Florida Welcome center upon arriving in Florida. The welcome center was very bright, clean, and organized. We were able to get free orange juice and got to select different types of travel brochures.

Very busy! Free orange juice was nice. However, seems a bit overrated. There is a lot of information available which is great for travelers, but there staff even used Google to answer questions. Maids and brochures Galore line the back wall like a Library for EVERYTHING in Florida. My suggestion, use the restroom, get the free orange juice, and Google the rest.

Staff at help desk far from helpful. When asking about the missing "Welcome to Florida" highway sign, I was simply told "there is a new one" while he pointed towards his left, but still avoiding eye contact.
What he COULD have told me is that a SECOND identical highway sign STILL exists on the south side of the property
Lost all stars because of terrible customer service. One star because of nice lady providing free orange juice, and one star because the second highway sign is still there (PLEASE don't remove it too!)response / report this review -

After stopping at several state welcome centers for different states Florida was not the nicest. The bathroom was not very clean but I mean most of the time rest areas are not that nice. They did have Orange Juice! Which made it more worth walking in when it was pouring rain!

Stopped here going to Disney World. Great place to stop after driving for a day to stretch my legs. Love the free orange juice sample. Center is also clean

When my wife and I arrived at the Welcome Center we were greeted with fresh orange juice. We also found many interesting books with data in where we were going in Florida. The receptionist was friendly and very polite.

Great Welcome to Florida Center! You will really feel like they are happy you came. The staff is helpful and amazing. Plus they have FREE Orange and Grapefruit juice.

Very friendly place. Lots of restrooms. They have crayons (c/o crayola) for your little ones. Just ask the reps at the desk. A lot of useful local information, not to mention their juice sampler desk (Orange and grapefruit)

Great place for a rest stop and to get information about Florida. Lots of maps and brochures. There are even things for the kiddos. Enjoy a cup of orange or grapefruit juice. Very friendly staff happy to give you any information about the state of Florida.

Very NICE, Very CLEAN & Very HELPFUL when First ENTERING the State of FLORIDA. There was a SWEET Lady sitting behind a COUNTER Full of BROCHURES & She was READY to answer ANY & ALL Questions pertaining to FLORIDA. There was a GREAT BIG Sign with FLORIDA spelled out for ALL VISITORS to take pictures of & to pose in front of. It was a NICE site to see at the "FLORIDA WELCOME CENTER".

Clean and great place to see. Needs the centers hours posted on exit sign. We got there at nine pm and it was closed. However bathroom was open. And we have visited many other times when open.

Extremely well maintained welcome center with constant sanitation and good lighting. Great photo opportunities with welcoming Florida-Landscape. Plenty of parking for all vehicle types. Air conditioned vending Hut that offers everything from flavored water to Florida T-shirts. You can even purchase Florida Sun-Passes, both types, from the vending Hut.

Let me apologize. To all pet owners. In every state from WV to Fl my dog was welcome. They had facilities for pet owner. They even let pets everywhere but in the buildings. They had picnic tables specifically where pet owners would feel comfortable. As a resident of Fl I'm ashamed. As a state dependent on tourism you would think they would be more considerate of the 70 percent of the population that has pets. Wake up Fl pet owners are a large part of your toirist dollar's.

If you travel to Florida you really should stop here. It's big, clean, full of great information and they'll give you a cup of fresh orange or grapefruit juice! The folks working the info counters were friendly & extremely helpful. We even got out picture made in one of the fun cutout boards they have around the center. The ladies room was clean, spacious & well stocked. Great spot to set the tone for your visit to the Sunshine State

It was really nice to stop and get out and stretch our legs after our 22-hour Drive. We found a really good deal on a hotel in Fort Lauderdale through one of the travel magazines offered for free. They save me about $75 on a hotel. Stop take a look stretch your legs and talk to the nice people. They all still offer free orange juice
