The food was good, the wait staff was good. The Hostess sorted us by a long table of 10 year old kids that were being kids. Plenty of other sitting available. We ate our food and left as soon as possible. We moved out of the area years ago and was regular customers there. Thought we stop back and see if it changed much. We have now done that and most likely won't go back.
They've gone downhill from the good old days that's for sure. Visited on 11/28/17 for a birthday. Their upstairs special was a 8oz prime rib with salad bar for just over 15 dollars. Not but a year or so ago the price was in the 10 dollar range with a side and salad bar. The prime rib was mostly fat and thin. 3 people in the party, one prime rib was served Luke warm at best. Back to Chef Microwave it went, for a quick nuke. Birthday gift was a 5 dollar certificate to be used in 60 days. Ohhh I had a key card too, but that doesn't work on specials.
I won't be too quick to go back for awhile, but it is still a local establishment to visit when in town.
Good food. Good service. you get a good amount of food for the price. Get there before 5:30pm gets very busy after that until around 7pm.
That's funny Joyce because we've met quite a few times before and Mona was overheard saying some pretty rude things about how she didn't enjoy living in the community. You should run-into that one former employee who stated that he saw cooks, at least back in the day, rubbing their nuts over food when the little leagues would come visit. How about knowingly serving drinks to people they knew were on probation?
They have the best wet burrito in town and I love love love the salsa! So good! Mona and the staff are great and always kind.
haven't been here in 15 years. the place never changes. Food was great!!!! Service was great!!! Hope it never does change.
Super good food and fantastic service. One of our favorite places!
Food is great, staff is great and your food comes fast
Shouldn't have to pay for chips and salsa. The hot salsa is very good and the best part of my meal. Chips are good and not overly salty. Chicken in my burrito was bland.
The Dungeon is the best place for a burrito in the Grand Rapids area. Staff is always great. Highly recommend the sangria!
Very pleasant place. Wait staff very nice
So he's had the great food you can't beat it it's always had great portions and most of all it has Labatt beer on tap not some of those crappy craft beers
We recently went there and had a party of about 25 people. It was extremely busy but our waiter did a good job of keeping up with everybody. My husband got the wet burrito and was very satisfied with it. If you are in a wheelchair and want to go down into the dungeon, they have the old-fashioned lift where you shut both doors and push a button to go down. It was a little scary so hopefully someday they can put an elevator in but overall, it was a good night.
Had the ultimate burrito and loved it! The waitress got me a pretty kick a$$ Bloody Mary too! Overall a nice place to go out on a Monday night. Not crowded and good service from our waitress. Clean restaurant and close parking to the building.
A cozy place for families or just to grab a beer. Good sized portions, better than decent service (but not great). A good place to get some Mexican comfort food.
