Great looking atmosphere and vibe. The service and food was not very good. I believe that they mixed up our order, some food came out fresh and hot, while others food was cold. Two of the five of us found big long hairs on their sandwich. In all fairness they had been busy before our arrival. I doubt I will ever give them another chance though, I've had a lot better food at many different Irish pubs.

    Two poor visits, months apart.

I didn't really get a full experience of the place, just a brief and bad one. Stopped in for a couple beers before the Tribe game with friends. The bar was packed but there was plenty of tables, and a few near the bar. The hostess was ignoring us so we ordered drinks at the bar and sat close to the door. Ten minutes later a waiter came over to lecture us about not being seated properly and waiting for someone to take our order. Then, without even offering a menu or more drinks, he sped off shaking his head. If the hostess is too busy to be bothered with us, how are we supposed to know?

Months later, I'm editing this after trying some food. I decided that first thing i should order off an Irish pubs menu should be their pub food. Fish and chips it is! The fish was delicious, but quickly ruined by the excessive grease on the dish, which made the second piece soggy. The potato discs were. potato discsI can't complain much, but who really compliments yet another fried potato? As for the kale coleslaw Now that was an oversell! I'm not sure what kale coleslaw is supposed to taste like, but plain, raw, shredded kale and cabbage???? It's just garnish! Not a great way to spend $14.

Oh, make that $30 since two pints of GL Dortmunder cost another $16.

Stopped in for a dessert before a concert. Both the Guinness chocolate cake and the bread pudding were terrible. One bite a piece and the napkins were on the plate. I love Guinness, but tasted nothing like it. Pudding was bland and had a weird consistency. Waitress didn't even bother to ask about the basically uneaten food.

Deserves a 0 star review. Glad they didn't brew the beer.

I ordered bangers and mash and that’s what I got. I had no idea that Bangers included liver that’s all I could taste. It even ruined the taste of the potatoes. And then served with raw broccoli florets. Huge waste of money. The waitress never even noticed that 90% of my plate was untouched.

WOW. I ordered the prime rib dip sandwich and seriously regretted not getting two (I'm not a big guy, either). My wife loved her "rubono." The kids did well. My 2 year old loved sharing with me and mom. Staff was super nice, loved the location and environment. Bill was somewhat reasonable

I've never posted a review before until mine and my girlfriend's poor experience at Flannery's.

We arrive and are seated by the hostess then greeted by our waitress who manages to drop menus on our table twice during our time there. We order an appetizer of chicken wings, my girlfriend had a main course of "bangers and mash" while I had a brie and bacon sandwich.

I took around 25 minutes for the appetizer to come out despite it not being that busy there. The wings tasted good but we later found out that the 6 wings we had cost $15 which is an outrageous price for chicken wings. I could go across the street and get those same wings for 1/5 of the price.

The main course didn't come out too much later, maybe at the 35 minute mark, when our waitress plates my meal to my girlfriend, and vice versa. Not that big of a deal. My sandwich was completely coated in cheese and looked rather sickening. It didn't taste very good either. My girlfriend's sausages were very tasty but the mash potatoes were rather bland and the vegetables plated with them tasted and looked like they came from a frozen bag. Neither one of us finished our meal. The bill came out, we paid cash, and the waitress gave us the wrong change and in Canadian currency. The only redeeming factor is the sausages because they were quite tasty but everything else was a massive disappointment.

This pub is located at the end of 4th street. Great selection of beers! I ordered the nachos, portions were big, food was good and filling but was barely warm when I received it. Service was excellent and knowledgeable of the events going on in the city.

Good selection. I had the fish and chips. They make their drinks the way you would make them at home.

Great vibe, fun atmosphere. Near the downtown stadiums. Parking nearby, but if there is a game you will pay game day price for parking. Food was very good, service staff on top of things. Worth a visit.

Watched the Cavs win Game 3 of the 2015 NBA Finals here (the peak of Delly Mania); I also saw the USA lose to Belgium in the 2014 World Cup here.

This place just has a great atmosphere. It's pretty hard to not be happy when you find yourself in this place. Not as "bro-y" as other sports bars can be. Intelligent, yet without frills. It's kind of like Cheers, but nobody knows your name. It doesn't matter though, because when the Cavs are playing a big game, we cease to be individuals and coalesce into one single, living, breathing organism.

my family went there for dinner tonight. we had outstanding service!!! the food was amazing. we ordered a cup of stew each as an appetizer and unlike many restaurants they dont skimp on meat! it was amazing. the entres were definitely made with care and skill. the service was very fast, friendly, engaging, and the server paid great attention to detail and what a family of three with a small child may need or desire.
frankly, It was one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant. keep it up, Flannerys! great job!!

Service was garbage and it was slow when we went. Ordered the beef pie and there were only 2 pieces of meat The rest of the pie was vegetables. Why bother calling it a beef pie if you only throw 2 scrap pieces of beef in it? Waitress had no clue how to follow up with our table. Menu is extremely short. Need I go on? Eat elsewhere.
