Been here several times. Lisa was our waitress every time and we wouldn't have it any other way.
She has a wonderful personality and answers all of our questions in detail.
We always order oysters on the half shell along with the surf and turf. Never had better, anywhere! From the scallops, steak and lobster, everything is cooked toonpwrfection and served in a timely manner.

I went there on a Sunday night and had a great experience at Blue Point.
Pros include great quality, great atmosphere, amazing service, amazing smilling Waiters, amazing valet parking service, amazing receptionist
Our waiter was Kim and she did a great job recommending certain dishes and explaining contents. She was able to accommodate our requests because we have food restrictions. Quality of food is high, it is apparent that they maintain high standards and care about their reputation.
we tried the crab cake, mixed greens, surf and turf, and Nags Head Grouper.
The place is a little expensive, but it's on the expense of the quality of food. Would definitely visit again !response / report this review -

One of my favorite restaurants anywhere and I travel nationally. Never a bad meal or experience once over the years. Do not go to Cleveland and not eat there ! Bring friends, they will thank you for it. Great for convention dinners with customers.

Nice ambiance. Food was fairly good. The calamari would have been goodhowever, it was rather greasy and was not fried hard enough for my taste. The sweet and sour sauce served with it was rather "strange" and it opened my nose (literally). The other sauce was "okay" but it looked really weird. The crab cakes were really goodbut, the roasted potatoes served with them were VERY dry. My guest really enjoyed their lobster bisque and salmon. I am a foodie and I enjoy doing reviews. I would rate this restaurant a 3.5. It definitely has potentialjust need a little "quality contol".

The service was very good and the food was pretty good. I wasn't absolutely blow away with anything but the lobster bisque. The tuna tartare had too much onion but was still good. Overall, I didn't find that the food was worth the price, but it was still a good experience.

Enjoyed our meal here last evening. Melissa was our server and she could not have been more personable. The forest mushroom appetizer was absolutely delicious, and the Alaskan crab legs special was just that. Also had filet Oscar, and it would have been better had it arrived rare as ordered, but it was tasty nonetheless. We'll definitely go back if we are in Cleveland again.

Great food and service. Started the night with a mixed oyster sampler and calamari.delicious. I was indecisive on whether I wanted seafood or red meat for my entree, so our server suggested I order the grouper (which they are evidently known for) and add a petite filet. Amazing. Also the lobster mashed potatoes were out of this world!

Outstanding service and food quality at a price. Had their halibut special and it was exactly that. Heirloom tomato salad was awesome. White tablecloth kind of place with a dress casual code. Did see plenty of folks with jeans and nice shirts, so they aren't strict.

Had dinner at the bar . Service was over the top amazing and food was outstanding. Rich was the bartender who gave us the up most amazing experience for being are first time customers. Rich you left us with a great taste in are months like the great dinner we had. I highly suggest the restaurant for all the great reasons !!!! Cannot wait to go back !!!

One of my all time favorite seafood restaurants in Cleveland. Best oysters in town and a spectacular menu with an extensive wine list. The seafood tower is out of this world!

The food and service here is excellent. Good fish and lobster. The location is perfect too as it's at the corner of W 6th and St Clair. They offer valet parking otherwise you'll need to find street metered parking or pay to park in a lot. The lunch prices are reasonable, roughly $15 for an entree.

Wonderful first experience at Blue Point! Our server encouraged us to try the oysters which were very fresh. I got the shrimp and scallops which were perfectly prepared, although I think could have used a little bit more seasoning. Overall great place and I would love to return

My experience was more than great. Originally made my reservation for 5. Went down to 2 and at the last minute went back to 4, then 5, then 6. The place was packed yet the staff made room for us. I know we were being a pain yet staff was more then helpful. The food was great and service was wonderful. Old friends catching up and weren't rushed at all. All around great experience.

Visited for dinner and had the seafood tower. Wow. That was a lot of food! And it was all great to boot. Server was friendly and fast. Overall it was a superb dinner experience!
