Paid $1,100 to have a dim headlight fixed and to eliminate a noise coming from rear of vehicle. Two weeks after repairs, still have a dim headlight and the noise has returned with a vengeance. What exactly did I pay for?
I gave an extra star because the service advisors are friendly.
The Service Manager Is very courteous and professional. He was able to fit me in for the needed service to my Malibu on short notice. The service that was performed was excellent and done right. I highly recommend the Fitzgerald Chevrolet Service in Frederick for anyone who wants quality service at a fair price.
The service was excellent and very good and the personal were very nice to salesman went out of his way to get me the best deal, I purchase a new truck and thanks again
I didn't want to write this review, though Fitzgerald keeps sending me emails stating they value my opinion. While all of my previous visits at Fitzgerald have been mostly positive, this one didn't start that way. My car had what seemed to be an electrical problem. The Service Adviser was very short and irritated with me when I took the car in, stating they cannot easily diagnose an electrical problem and it could take all day. He then wrote a large $119 on the work order, telling me that was the hourly rate and I'd have to pay that. I agreed, because I needed the car fixed. He asked if I had a ride home, and I said no, I would wait. He was very gruff, again stating it could take all day. The whole attitude was as if I was stupid and couldn't understand that electrical problems were hard to diagnose. Well, considering that a majority of the components on a car are run by the electrical system, they should have diagnostic equipment that can find problems, especially on a system that has not been tampered with. In the end, the diagnostic equipment didn't find anything, they reset the system and it works fine now. But the attitude of "electrical systems are HUGE issues and YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND" is not acceptable in 2017. I DO UNDERSTAND. I understand that repairs can take time. But to predispose that finding the cause will take 8 or more hours and drill that into a customer's head is not good at all.
Excellent service staff! I was dealing with a situation and Andrew (Service Manager) and his team went above and beyond to take care of me. Service like this is hard to come by these days. I was kept in the loop every step of the way! I would recommend the service department at Fitzgerald Chevrolet to anyone. Thank you again!
A few weeks ago, I took my car here to get serviced, and was very happy with the work. Staff were professional and courteous, and the work was done right the first time. Additionally, the waiting area was clean, had plenty of seating, Wi-Fi, coffee and power outlets.
They went above and beyond my expectations with the repair I needed. I've been using them to service my Suburban since 2007. The truck drives and feels like new again! Thanks Kevin Bull
I have bought my last 2 cars here and both times I invested in the Buyer Protection Plan and the Fitzway Advantage. Which is really the way to go because most of your maintenance is covered. The service department is helpful and well staffed to take care of your vehicles needs and will be honest with you about what your car is going to need and if it is something that you can put off or do little by little of it is something that isn't covered by those two programs. My mother recently bought her car there and also chose to invest in the service packages. If you want the most out of your car you need to treat it right from the start and Fitzgeralds is committed to helping you do that.
I always have a pleasant experience with the sales team, service team, and finance department. They always greet me and and make sure all my needs are met. Second car and twice as impressed with their service team. Looking forward to buying a new car for my son soon at Fitzgerald.
I purchased my car here in 2013 and have been a dedicated customer ever since. I take my car, and my husband's car, here to have the oil changed, tires rotated, etc. on a regular basis. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the service is quick. I will continue to be a customer and hope to purchase future cars at the Baughmans Lane location.
I just had a checkup and oil change by Fitzgerald and it was done in a timely manner and professionally.
I took my 2011 Chevy Traverse into the dealership on 12/28 for a problem with the motor mount. It was "repaired" and cost over $400. 30 days later I hear the same noise and take my car back in. This time I'm told the motor mount was broken. I reminded them that I'd paid to have the same problem fixed 30 days ago. Kevin the CSR tells me he the $400 was just to torque the mount down now it was actually broken. My question to him is why wasn't it replaced before? He had no answers! I was given a bill for another $400+. This was my 2nd horrible experience there where I paid for no/sub par service. Avoid this place at all cost!!! I don't mind paying to have my car repaired however I don't want to be cheated or swindled either!
Very professional handling of maintenance issues, very well staffed with little wait time. Staff is personable, pleasant to talk with and certified Technicians/Mechanics. Would highly recommend this Dealership to anyone who is looking for quality service at competitive prices.
If you are thinking of purchasing a car with someone that is honest, reliable and extremely helpful please see David Harrison at Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Frederick, MD. I highly recommend David, this is the second car that I have purchased at this location and with David. He was extremely helpful on providing very informative information on the Buyback Volkswagen issue and helping my pick out my new car. I want to thank him for his patience on providing me with all the great features on my new Passat. Thank you Dave and please keep up the great customer service as always!
Came looking for a used car, left with a new car with a deal I would have thought was impossible. Key thing in my experience was the total lack of pressure from anyone; from the salesman who greeted me to the back-office where I was shown a dizzying array of ways I could spend a whole lot more money. Nobody pressured me to do anything so I was able to enjoy the experience and decide what was best for me. If you go there and have the experience I had, you will be able to enjoy the process without the fear of someone looking for ways to rip you off. It is nice to find a business that understands that a good deal is one that benefits both parties.
