I love the bank itself, but every time I need to call the bank to speak with someone it takes 7 minutes of an automated voice to actually get connected to someone. It's very frustrating and aggravating.

Wow, I can't believe the couple of negative reviews? I wonder if those folks have ever banked elsewhere? FCCU has customer service that is WAY BETTER than other banks! They still have that hometown feel, they are quick and responsive, and easy to deal with. I've been a member for a few months now, and I recently got a mortgage loan there, and I have been extremely pleased with my interactions with each and every person at their branches and over the phone. HIghly recommend FCCU.

Left Regions bank due to their weird way of taking out funds from largest to smallest rather than when the purchase was made, which screwed us royally in the rear with fees. Went to First Commerce and opened my account with in minutes because I had went online and had everything already filled out. They were so helpful and don't try to scam you out of your money like Regions.

I opened my account with First Commerce Credit Union five years ago and have been very pleased with my experience. On one occasion, I went in to pay my credit card bill and their computers were done. The teller processed my payment when the computers were back up and called me to let me know that he had taken care of it. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful every time I have had an interaction with them.
