Fabulous raw oysters (when you order a dozen, you get 15!) with all the trimmings. Also love the smoked fish spread, but at $9 for about half a cupawfully pricey. Main reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is time to clean the bathrooms and put a little money into upkeep and decor. Wait staff is very friendly and accommodating.
What a wonderful find! The food was delicious, and the entertainment was unexpectedly great!! Anytime we are in the area we will go back. I highly recommend Deals!
Love love LOVEEEE the fresh seafood. Every single waitress is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My favorite seafood restaurant in Perry!
Yum, yum! Soooooo good. We drove an hour just to get fried shrimp and it was worth every minute.
WHOLE flounder. Melt in your mouth delicious! Of course the cheese grits were as yummy as ever. Almost as good as Mama can make - and that's saying something!
Great food great staff terrific key lime pie will be back
Excellent restaurant that serves fresh locally sourced seafood. We live in the next county over and anytime we are craving some good seafood we always pick this place. It's always packed and for good reason. Service is always great. Pricing is a little up there but I think its reasonable and worth it. This is a restaurant that we would miss if it ever closed.
Loved everything. Oysters, fried pickles, shrimp, mullet, and amazing little hush puppies! ! Great service and friendly atmosphere
Most expensive and lousiest seafood dinner I ever had. This restaurant has very courteous employees but extremely high prices and lousy food.
My mistake for stopping there.
My boyfriend and I stopped at this little oyster house for what we hoped would be delicious and fresh seafood and let me tell you, this place knows how to cook! We decided to split the a plate that had fish, scallops, a crab cake, shrimp, oysters, hush puppies and 2 sides, we had cheese grits and a potato. This was the best seafood and the plate was full of food for the price. We were very satisfied. Friendly staff and some homemade music too! Definitely check it out if you're in the area or like us, just passing through.
Famous of fried food maybe. We ordered STEAMED and they were sent back 3 times. Found out that the way they steam is..wet towel on top of the oysters then put them in the microwave. How in the world do you name yourself FAMOUS OYSTER House when you don't know how to steam oysters????
Great for fresh seafood and laid back dinning experience! Most of the favorite plates are at least $20 but worth the price. American style food is also available and tasty for non seafood lovers. They offer great pie, and it is a must try dessert, after a good proportioned meal! If it isn't right they will happily correct the mistake. The owner is a wonderful person and usually present and greeting her patrons. If she is there you will get to see a very southern instrument played with a great upbeat song! A hometown favorite and tradition for Taylor County!
